Ethel: (about Fred) You never hold a grudge when there's money involved.
Lucy: When did you catch on?
Ricky: Listen, anytime Fred Mertz tells one of his steady paying tenants to move out, there's something fishy somewhere.
Ricky: They were acting like that because they love us.
Lucy: Well, I'd hate to think how they'd act if they couldn't stand us.
Fred: We can burn the building down.
Ethel: Are you crazy?
Fred: No, I'm insured.
Ethel (about the Ricardos): They're the kind of people that give people a good name.
Elliot Reid (Edward Warren) cannot see the Ricardos and the Mertzes while he is interviewing them. The visuals are inserted later.
This episode is also known as "Face to Face".
