It is interesting to note that Lucy and Ricky's wedding anniversary is never the same. In this episode, Ricky tells Lucy that their anniversary is on the 7th. But in episode #36, "The Anniversary Present," when Lucy tries to remind him of their anniversary, Lucy circles the 19th (or something like that) on the calendar.
Ricky: (on the phone with Western Union) Ricardo y de Acha. (pause) Acha! Acha! (pause) Thank you, but I'm not sneezing.
Ricky: Fred, you remember?
Fred: How 'bout May the 3rd? That date sticks in my mind for some reason. (thinking) No, no, no. That's the day I fell down and broke my leg. Or was that the day I got the gout?
Ethel: Fred, for your information, May the 3rd is our wedding anniversary!
Fred: Well, I knew it was tied in to some painful memory.
Ricky: (asking the date of his anniversary) Ethel, when is it?
Ethel: I don't know.
Ricky: What do you mean 'you don't know'? You were there at our anniversary party last year.
Ethel: So were you!
Ricky: You know what they ought to do? They ought to declare a national holiday and let everybody celebrate their anniversary on the same day.
Fred: Yeah, how about April 1st?
Ricky: No hablo Inglés.
Lucy: You hablo plenty of Inglés. So you better start habloing right now.
(Ricky is mumbling in Spanish.)
Lucy: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but Spanish names won't hurt me!
