Ricky wants Lucy to try working for a week, so she and Ethel get jobs at a candy factory, where they are totally inept-especially at wrapping chocolates-due to a speeding conveyor belt that has them stuffing chocolates in their mouths, blouses, and hats.

    Watching Lucy play in the Chocolate at the candy factory. was absolutely halarious. Watching Lucy try to catch the fly with all of the mess around her and on her was amusing, along with the chocolate fight. Lucy and Ethels biggest challenge during the episode was them packaging little chocolates into tissue paper, it's one of the most classic moments in all of television history. The the machine was getting faster and faster, until they could no longer keep up with it. At that point the two talented ladies started stuffing chocolates everywhere in there person. No one minds watching this episode more than once.moreless

    Lucy is spending to much money, as usual. Ricky complains that he has to make all the money while Lucy sits around the house all day. Lucy says she does not, and says she could get a job and work for a living. Ricky says he could easily do housework. So they dare eachother to switch places.

    Lucy and Ethel get a job at a candy factory. First, Lucy has to dip chocolate, but fails and ends up fighting with the other dipper. Than She and Ethel get sent to wrap chocolates on a convator belt. If one piece of candy got by unwrapped, they were fired. This classic scene starts with the chocolate going slow. This is easy for the girls. But then it starts to speed up and Lucy and Ethel can't wrap them. So they take off the chocolate trying not to make them pass. Suddenly, it stops and the boss is coming. Lucy and Ethel get rid of the chocolate by eating it and stuffing in their shirts and hats. The boss is happy and Lucy and Ethel are releived. But suddenly the boss yells "Speed it up a little!" And it starts all over again.

    Meanwhile, Ricky and Fred are trying to do housework. They decide to make dinner together. Ricky makes the course, and Fred makes the dessert. But they mess it up. Fred made a very flat cake, with the frosting mixed in, and Ricky made four pounds of rice. The kitchen is a mess now.

    Lucy and Ethel come home finding a note saying don't go in the kitchen. Lucy goes in and sees it. Ricky and Fred come in and apologize, saying they didn't know it was so hard. They make it up by giving the girls each five pound boxes of chocolates!

    This is one of my favortie episodes. It is a must-see!moreless

    Always begging money from Ricky.Ricky than tells Lucy that she should get an job.Than lucy dare the guys to try and work home while the girls go to work.Lucy and Ethel the next day they begin to go job hunting to see where they could be working and also what job that they could.They get an job working in the chocolate factory.At first,they thought it would be easy.After the superviouer saw how good they good they were.The work begin to go faster and the girls had to eat the chocolate and the guys start to work on dinner for the girls.However cooking didn't do so good for them enspecially the rice.

    This episode is pretty popular for chocolate business.Cause sometime I see Lucy picture on certain things.moreless

    • Blooper 1: Ricky trips on the overflowing rice dripping on the floor, when actually, his falling wasn't scripted. Blooper 2: While the conveyor belt is speeding up, Lucy was too soon to eat one of the chocolates. And realizing her mistake, she quickly removed the candy and dropped it on the floor. Blooper 3: The part where Lucy and a co-worker are having a chocolate fight, the co-worker's slap didn't happen twice, it was the same slap but from two different camera angles. Edit

    • Supervisor: If one piece of candy passes you, and goes into the packing room unwrapped...(looks at Lucy and Ethel)...you're fired. Lucy and Ethel: Yes, ma'am. Supervisor: LET ER' ROLL!!!!!!!! (she leaves the room, and pieces of chocolate start coming out on the conveyor belt, Lucy and Ethel start wrapping the candy with no problem) Lucy: Hey, this is easy. Ethel: Yeah, we can handle this okay. (they wrap more candy, then some candy starts to pass them, and they grab it and put it on the side of the belt) Lucy: Ethel, I think....... (they keep grabbing the candy, struggling to keep it from passing them, they even eat some of it, but Ethel let a few candies pass her, and after a while, the belt stops) Lucy: Quick, she's coming.
