This is one of my favorite episodes. The little shoe shine boy playing on Lucy's emotions is predictable, but his "Hey! Whadda you know...today, she's a my birth-a-day too!" is priceless! He then brings in all the children in the village, claiming it's their birthdays as well. But, as the era dictates, he see the error of his ways and confesses, offering all their goodies back to Lucy.
In my opinion, it ranks right up there with the Chocolate Factory episode!
They just don't make'em like this anymore! It makes you long for the time when life was simpler, slower, less complicated, and much, much funnier.
