Ricky and everyone else is secretly planning an surprise birthday for Lucy. While acting and pretending that they didn't know it was her birthday and that they had forgotten.Lucy is disappointed of Ricky and how he forgot it was her birthday.Mrs Trumbill decided and told Lucy that with just the three of them (her, lucy and little ricky) can celebrate Lucy's birthday by themselves. However Lucy decided to take an walk as she sat alone in the park. She meets an group of organzation called "Friends Of The Friendless" Lucy doesn't want to join however she decided to bring them to Ricky's club to show Ricky how disappointed she was that he has forgotten her birthday.Once she got there she got an big surprise finding out that it that they hadn't forgotten kept this surprise an secret.

This was an awsome episode. Also the only time we hear the the song "I love Lucy" from Ricky too.moreless
  • Lucy goes off the deep end with painful results

    0.5
This is the only episode of the series that I find unwatchable. When Lucy thinks that everyone has forgotten her birthday, she lapses into a pitiful whimpering and crying jag that leads her to wander Central Park alone. Unlike her usual funny "Whhhhhhhhhaaaa" crying, these tears come across as those of a suicidal woman in deep depression. Forget about the happy ending; Lucy needs some serious psychological help. Perhaps in part because things have changed since the 50s, and perhaps because it's just a sad pity-party of an episode, this outing just hurts to watch.moreless
