Ricky: Being married to you is not easy, but it sure is a lot of fun.
Evelyn: DId you hear a piece of cheese burp?
Lucy: Complications, complications.
Ethel: What's the matter?
Lucy: They charge ten percent of the regular fare for babies. That's $30.
Ethel: How much will it cost of it's a cheese?

Ricky: I am not the father of that cheese.
Lucy: What do they take on the plane for free?
Ethel: Only the clothes you're wearing.
Lucy: Oh well, that's no good. Very few people wear cheese.
Lucy: Someone we all know and love...my mother.
Ricky: Your what?!
Lucy: My mother and she's a who, not a what.
Lucy: You can't come home from Europe without buying gifts for your friends.
Fred: The test of true friendship does not depend on buying gifts.
Ethel: He ought to know. He's been testing his friends for 20 years.
Fred: Ethel I told you you were buying too many souvenirs.
Ethel: I want a lot of things to remind me of my trip when I get home.
Lucy: Gee, I hate to leave Europe.
Ethel: Me too.
Fred: From the looks of things you're not leaving it, you're taking it with you.
Guest star Mary Jane Croft loves this episode.
The idea for Lucy bringing home the cheese on the plane came from Bob Carroll, Jr. As he was going through customs, a man in front of him carried a 20lb. wheel of cheese. The customs officials cut the cheese because they thought the man was smuggling jewels.
This is the final episode produced by Jess Oppenheimer. He would leave Desilu Productions to work for NBC.
