As Lucy exits the Mertzes' room to get the train tickets, you can see that their room number is 371--not 317 as it had been mentioned since their arrival in the episode "L.A. at Last."
In this episode, the entrance to Fred & Ethel's room is on the opposite side from where it was in the episode when they hid John Wayne's footprints under their bed.
The sound of the motorcycle crashing happens before it is even off the screen. Also you will notice that Fred's dialogue in this scene is looped, re-recorded because of the noise from the crash.
Ricky: (about Lucy) You're the vice-president of sneaky switches.
Ricky: An upper berth is just as good as a back seat.
Ricky: Lucy, are you trying to tell me something?
Lucy: I'm trying to keep from telling you something.
(Lucy says Fred is right.)
Ethel: Who asked you?
Lucy: Well, it's just common sense.
Ethel: Common sense has nothing to do with it. When I say he's wrong, he's wrong.
Ricky: Are they mad?
Lucy: Let's put it this way, if I were you I wouldn't walk ahead of them down a dark alley.
Ethel: I haven't been on a train since I was a little girl.
Fred: Did they have trains back then?
Ethel: I presume when Ricky sold the car, the back seat went with it.
