Flub: Lucy tells Mrs. Benson that some of her best friends are furniture movers, obviously enlisting the aid of the Mertzes in helping Mrs. Benson move her things to the Ricardos' old apartment. After Mrs. Benson goes to get the key to her apartment, Vivian Vance (as Ethel) flubs her line and says: "If you think I'm going help you mar--carry all this furniture..." This was shortly after the ladies were discussing Mrs. Benson's daughter's recent marriage.
Ethel: Even if you do talk Mrs. Benson into switching apartments with you, this apartment is still gonna cost Ricky an extra $20 a month.
Lucy: It isn't gonna cost Ricky anything.
Lucy:It's gonna cost me $20 a month. I'm gonna scrimp and save and pay it out of my allowance.
Ethel: You're already drawn on your allowance seven months in advance! Oh, you'll never be able to pay me!
Lucy: I will too!
Ethel: If I were smart, I'd let you have this place for the same price. Then we can still stay friends.
Lucy: (face lighting up) Yeah!
Ethel: But I'm not that smart!
(Lucy and Ethel are discussing switching apartments with Mrs. Benson; Ricky covers their mouths to get them to stop talking)
Ricky: (in a heavy Cuban accent) I wunt swish aparments! Did you understand what I just said? (Lucy and Ethel nod) Good. What did I say?
Lucy You "wunt swish aparments."
Lucy: My haven't we been the busy bees.
Ethel: Yes, and apparently one of us busy bees thinks she's the queen.
Lucy: Now, Ethel, don't get your stinger out of joint.
