THIS is comedy! Tension mixed in with comedy; what makes every I Love Lucy episode amazingly uproarious. I loved the dog. And the certain doctors that showed up? HILARIOUS. The one thing I didn't like is how the men treated Lucy. Sure, it was funny, but it made them both look like snobby celebs who couldn't take a little embarassment. (Though of course, they weren't.) Even because of that disapointment, I still give this episode a 9.9.

- Richard Widmark didn't feel comfortable using the exterior of his house in this episode. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's house (which they had recently purchased) was used instead. It's a good thing too because for many years after, tourists would try climbing over the wall of the house just like Lucy does in this episode.
