    • Kelly: I'm telling you, man, all other bikinis would be as stuffed with plaster of Paris besides Sue. And her sloop. Did you see her sloop?
Scotty: Yes, the wonderfulness of her sloop.

    • Kelly: You want to hear about it?
Scotty: You want to talk about it?
      Kelly: No.
Scotty: Well, then I don't want to hear about it.
      Kelly: All right, thanks.
      Scotty: Good enough.

    • Kelly: Were you ever in love? I mean, not for the weekend. I don't mean that.
      Scotty: Well, yeah, sure.
Kelly: What'd you do about it?
Scotty: Well, I got out of it.
      Kelly: What'd you do?
Scotty: I took up, uh, pipe smoking. After pipe smoking, I would write a few poems, hanging around in the room and what-not. And then one day I got this phone call and it's a sweet young thing on the phone. She said, "Hey, Scotty, I hear that you're not going with Cynthia anymore." And I said, "Well, you're right about that" and she said "Why don't you come on over to the house and what we'll do is have a little tea and some crumpets and watch some TV."
      Kelly: Yeah.
Scotty: So I put down the pipe and I stopped writing the poems and I got my mom to write me a nice little note to her. And what we did was we sat there, ate a sponge cake and had some fun, and I've been beautiful ever since.
      Kelly: Yes, great.
Scotty: Timber! I got to yell timber.
Kelly: Isn't that marvelous? Next time it'll fall on your head.

    • Scotty: Well, don't look at me. I didn't wave any flags.
