I've noticed this at the start of season 5, that the plots for iCarly keep getting weaker and weaker. What do you guys think?

While there are some plots I didn't enjoy (i.e. the Pear Store episode), I can't say the show's going downhill. I mean, iOpen a Restaurant and iShock America were pretty good.

We all know Season 5 and 6 weren't the strongest points of the show. But really? Another thread about it?

iCarly had gone downhill rapidly in season two. No later than in season three, the point was reached where it could not sink any deeper.

This proves once more that fifty episodes are more than enough for any show.

    Schilling, stop trolling .

But if your serious, that is a completely unpopular opinion.

    I am totally serious.

    Popularity is overrated.

I am not an opportunist and follow my own ethics and inspiration.

I agree a little with schilling, there are some shows, iCarly for instance, that probably shouldn't be on for so long as they just push the line. The shows that are really good can always stay on longer, but those tend to be rare and few, mostly with Nick.

I for one am glad that iCarly has gone on so long. Even with the lack luster S5 and 6, the show still manages to be better than half the stuff that comes out for kids these days and that is why iCarly is on my list of favorite shows.

To be honest, I like iCarly, but I kind of the think it ran for a little too long, in my opinion. The first 3 seasons, to me, were iCarly's strongest points. After that, not so much. The acting was kind of forced, almost as if they were tired of the whole thing and wanted to move on. The jokes got less cheesy, which was good, but they started getting dirtier and there were a lot more innuendos. Overall, this show is pretty good and it's a lot better than the new crap Nick has now.

I agree that seasons 1 through 3 were the best

You guys really think S1 is apart of the golden age? It was the most cheesiest .

    Most people consider it S2-S4

Well, at any rate, iCarly is certainly ending at the right time.

Seasons 1 - 3 were definitely the best, and the first half of Season 4, too. Up till after iStar A Fan War, things went downhill.

And I'm ashamed to see that iShock American only got 3.6 views; .3 less than iGo One Direction. Give me a break...

How so? I'm sorry, but the rest of Season 4 was just as gold. With episodes such as iPity The Nevel.

I didn't meant to make it sound like the last half of Season 4 was bad. I just thought the long breaks between episodes made the start of the show feel... different. Sorry if my wording wasn't well put. The last few episodes of Season 4 were good, especially iParty with Victorious. But that's the problem; there were very few episodes. Kind of makes the world feel... small.

Things like this make it feel as though they're slipping away from life.

I want this to be the best season, and for the show to end out on a bang. A reasonable start to the season with the Jimmy Fallon episode, some big guest stars yet to feature.

I don't think it helps that the episodes are barely promoted. It's the last season, and you expect them to make a huge deal out of episodes, and tell them suspenseful questions will be answered in the episode. I forget about new episodes. They didn't really promote Emma Stone. The ratings are really weak. The past episode was the first time it got into the top 25, and it got under 4 million views. We know that questions fans had are going to be answered in the finale, that Carly's dad will appear, etc.

Like I don't even watch WOWP, but I know they made a huge deal about "WHO'S GOING TO BE THE FAMILY WIZARD?? FIND OUT!" forever. Nickelodeon is wondering why their episode got so many views?

I liked a few of the episodes, but there were some episodes I was too bored to even finish, Gibby and Spencer went from being the best characters to the worst, and there are things that are lacking in the new episodes. However, despite me thinking it's an okay show, or other people still liking it, I don't think iGoodbye will go out with a bang. The fanbase isn't as strong as it used to be, and there won't be too many facts. People are just over this show. Definitely won't get as many as iSYL like some people thought years ago. It would be lucky to get 3/4 as many viewers as iOMG did.

Just my opinion, but Dan pretty much killed it with the arc. He should have kept teasing everything for a bit, focusing more on the comedy, and have the main relationship get together at the end.
