Sorry iCarly fans but I just despise Season 1 Freddie!!! This episode made no sense. Ok Freddie learns to fencer and ironicly his ancestors were fencers. (Of course). Seriously they can do better!!!!

Now, you all know that I don't enjoy Season 1 too much and I consider one of iCarly's worst seasons but I must admit that this episode was just all-around excellent. I have absolutely NO negative comment about this episode. Everything in this episode from start to finish was just pure perfection. Freddie tagging along with Spencer to go fencing when Freddie gets kinda tired of hanging out with girls like Carly and Sam was good. Freddie discovering that he is a very good fencer was excellent and funny. Spencer's fencing archnemesis "Toader" (I think that's how you spell it) was very funny and I loved the line "Come on you guys, let's go get some french toast". Carly suffering by spending the afternoon with her cousins "Dorfmans" was very funny. Carly going to Mrs. Benson and telling her that Freddie has been fencing with Spencer was very funny. Sam also reading a book and actually loving the book was very funny after she made a bet that she can read the entire book by the end of the week The good part was that this bet that Sam and Freddie was very funny and good. The other bets that they've made was pathetic and completely unfunny. Mrs. Benson telling her story about how Freddie's ancestors used to fence was very good and funny. Also, I was laughing very hard when Mrs. Benson was fencing "Toader" and the other guys when they hurt Freddie. The very ending with Freddie putting the water hose in his pants which makes the pants wet was just hilarious. This is the only Sam and Freddie bet that actually made me laugh hard. Overall, Season 1 is one of "iCarly" worst episodes but this episode was definitely excellent and just plain hilarious. 10/10

This was a good episode for freddie who wan;ts to hang out with guys for once. He finds out that he can fence when he goes to fencing class with Spencer. He can beat him with ease. But there's a fencing bully that needs to be thought a lesson but Freddie's mother finds out and tells him the story of their family history that their obsessive fencers. Later Freddie fences the bully bit is elbowed down bu him know his mother goes insane and this is the funny part Carly and Sam are screaming like id.ots. Freddie's mom goes nuts and drives them both off. This was a good episode for Freddie because he kicked ass this time . Unlike the ones where he is constantly being pushed around by Sam.

If the image of Freddie's mom dueling with four kids and chasing them out of a gymnasium makes you laugh then this episode was for you. If not, then you probably are not an iCarly fan, as she is the best recurring character on the show (don't try and argue that Gibby is better.)



This was a very enjoyable episode that actually focused on Spencer and Freddie, instead of the two female stars of this show for a change. Did we even get a real resolution to the reading bet though?



Definitely one of season 1's better installments. You could already tell this was a great show in the making.

spencer begins taking freddie to fencing lessons and freddie becomes great at fencing. but when carly tells mrs benson will she make him stop? sam and freddie have a bet that sam can't finish a book, but will she be able to?



great episode, kind of dull in some areas but overall it was really a treat, one of their best episodes, really funny, good plots, what more could you ask for? Overall grade for this episode from me is a well deserved and very high A+, simply a great episode from the first season of the show. Just perfect

This episode was pretty great. I loved finally seeing a little guy time between Freddie and Spencer. And for them to bond over fencing, that's pretty cool. Fencing is interesting. I'm beginning to like it a little myself.



I don't really like the way that Carly was acting. She was thinking of nobody but herself, and that's really outside of her character. I hope they never make Carly act like that again. But to tell Freddie's mom about him fencing was kinda wrong, yet funny. And I loved the Creddie moment when Carly apologized to Freddie at school. It was cute.



What really struck me as funny was when Mrs. Benson brought up the Fencin' Benson's! That was hilarious, and it made it more funny how Carly and Freddie wouldn't even believe her story. Freddie's fencing match was also pretty cool. I loved how Mrs. Benson took on all those guys by herself and beat them out the door. Very great episode.

freddy needs some guy time so he goes to the fencing studio with spencer. freddy easily beats spencer and discovers he is a fencing master. meanwhile carly is preparing a nerdy for her nerdy cousins. then they arrive and carly is tortured by their wierdness. when spencer and freddy get back carly is angry at them cuz spencer didnt stay home to for dinner. freddy also has to fight a fencing master, but his mom doesnt want him to but in the end he does. and as things get at the worst freddys mom who is a fencing master defeats freddys opponet.

This episode was really entertaining. Freddie branched out from the girls and found something he was really good at. I liked how Dan made Freddie the center of this episode. It was a really good idea. In this episode, I also liked it how Freddie stood up to his mom and told her that he should be able to have a little freedom, since he's like 13 or 14-years-old. I just thought that was as good as it got. But then the episode got even better. Freddie won the fencing challenge against the bully!This is definetly one of my favorite episodes of iCarly. It earns a 9.3 out of 10 from me!

This episode was truly enjoyable to watch. It dealt with Freddie getting involved in an activity that wasn't with the girls, he had a guy activity that I think he really needed. As one with more female friends than male friends, I believe there is a lot of value in having activities with the males as well. One thing I wasn't too fond with in this episode was Carly, she acted kind of snobbish in a way. It was almost as if she wanted things to be all about her, she shot out at Spencer and I didn't think she should have done that. I did enjoy seeing Freddie's mother toward the end of the episode, she kind of proved that she was not just some insane, crazy freakish mother who didn't know what she was talking about. Plus she showed that you don't mess with her son and get away with it, that was great!

iFence is another iCarly CLASSIC! It's mostly about Freddie bonding with Spencer but this episode has tons of comedy and action. spencer take freddie fencing (which means sword fighting) and freddie is awesome. even freddie's mom fences which is even funnier nbut i won't spoil the surprise ending for you. oh yeah and freddie bets sam she cant read a whole book and you have to watch to see what happens when freddie loses the bet. you will LOL your butt off!!!!!!! overall i haave to give this episode a 10 b/c there wasn't any part of it i didnt love. oh - spencer eats green pudding and that's hilarious tooo!

After Freddie feels weird about hanging out with girls all the time, Spencer takes him to fence with him. Freddie is really good and Spencer wants him to beat this bully. Freddie and Spencer practice a lot. Carly is trying to get ready for their cousins' visit. They are really weird and...weird. When Spencer is out fencing during their whole visit, Carly gets mad and tells them not to fence. When they do, she tells Freddie's mom, who reveals a family secret: they are all really good fencers. She lets Freddie fence and even fences herself. Sam and Freddie bet that Sam can't read a whole book in a week. Sam actually does and she likes it.



This episode was pretty good! It had some really funny parts, but also some really weird parts. This episode gets a 9.0 from me!

Carly has to make dinner for her weird relatives and Freddie wants to do fencing. The funniest part of this episode was the end when Freddie's mother was fencing out Doug Todar. Especially the end with the bet also. Sam has never read a book in her life and makes a bet with Freddie and later in the episode some of Sam'd friends told her to play a prank on Ms.Briggs car and she said SHH I'm reading and later after that part to some kids asked Sam if Sam's mom drives a towtruck she said yes and after that she said SHH Im reading and Sam wins the bet. Freddie's great graet grandfather was a master at fencing.

Freddie's in need of some guy time, so he tags along with Spencer to go fencing. Freddie's a natural, but things get complicated when Spencer gets him involved in a match with the amazing Doug Toder. Meanwhile, Carly has to plan a dinner for her weird relatives, the Dorfmans, and with Spencer busy fencing, she might not get much help. Sam reveals that she has never read a real book, and a bet begins between her and Freddie: can Sam finish a book?



This episode is the 22 of iCarly and it was also the worst so far. It was still funny though.

ok wow this ep was much better than i honestly expected..like i was super excited about this ep but when i saw it im like oh my gosh thats so awesome..i love it..freddie was so awesome w/ the fencing and it was interesting how carly can boss spencer around..she shouldnt do that honestly lol..but then..wow this ep was like a huge stepping stone for freddie b/c at first he went along w/ his mom..oh sry spoiler..and then he stands up to her..i love it..thats like the first time ever so i was cheering him on..he impressed me and he stood up to carly and i like the carly and freddie moment too..then freddie was awesome fencing against the guy and then his mom got in on it and it was super hilarious..then the end w/ sam winning the bet was funny too

WOW is all I have to say that episode is really amazing it had Creddie and Seddie in it Spencer just being his natural self there are some new twist about Freddie. Ms. Benson was super funny,and it seems that Freddie has grown a bit of a backbone towards his mother.Sam ends up loving reading so much that she turned down being able to throw balloons full a mayo at Mrs.Briggs car.The bet that Sam and Freddie made, the loser get a crule punishment(SUPER FUNNY!!!!).This was just an insanely funny episode these are the kinds of iCarly episodes that make my day trust me you guys won't be dissapointed I know I wasn't. 10/10.
