I gotta say, I didn't have very high hopes for this episode because the plot seemed sort of unoriginal. It actually turned out great! There were countless hilarious moments, especially in the first half, such as Carly's prank on Sam and Freddie and the flashback of the prank Spencer pulled when he was in 9th grade. I also laughed at Gibby's part in the second half when they were trying to prank Spencer, and I liked the fact that Drake and Josh made cameo appearances in this episode even though it was just audio. The one thing I didn't understand, though, was the ending. How did Carly get Spencer's old classmates to come over? That was never explained. Oh, well. I guess it wasn't too important to know that. The very end with the classmates beating Spencer up also didn't make much sense to me. Still, this was a surprisingly good episode in my opinion. Final grade: A-. Marebear2009, out!
WOW. Season 4 just keeps getting better. Carly is disappointed that she has not yet pranked anyone but Sam and Freddie have. So she asks Spencer for help and she gets Sam and Freddie. I will not spoil it, but it was hilarious. I got scared myself too. I thought it was not really her, but it was. Good one, Carly. Then Spencer gets obsessed with pranking and forgot how fun it was. So he goes around and pranks Carly, Sam, Freddie, Gibby, and others. It shows him doing them in a song. They were funny but mean. That's what pranks are though. Later he does something to a man at the Groovy Smoothie that T-bo asks, "What kind of sick man thinks that's funny?" Well, he's right, but in a way I don't blame Spencer because it is funny when it is not you. When you prank someone, it is funny, but you don't realize that it hurt the other person and that it is not funny to them. That is normal behavior. We are humans. That's the way thing work. But in reality, it is not acceptable and yes as T-bo says, he went too far.
Carly, Sam, and Freddie try to get back at Spencer by having Gibby jump on him when he bends down to pick up a paper, but wow was I surprised. What happened was amazing and funny. I won't spoil it for you. You'll have to watch it yourself to find out. Then Carly brings in the people that Spencer pranked freshman year of high school so that they could remind him of how bad his pranking was so that he will stop, but yikes...it didn't go as planned. Although he got taught his lesson, it was a little harsh and too much. But I don't blame them. They are angry and wanted to get back, and since Carly left the room, it did seem like a good moment to do it, and it made the show funnier. That's what Spencer gets, but as I said, it was too cruel and mean. This eipsode was awesome and I loved to see the pranks that Spencer pulled. Him making a spoon hat was weird and silly but funny. Weird and silly is sometimes funny, and sometimes not and just stupid and ridiculous. In this case, it was funny. Check this episode out. It's funny. This was another awesome, fantastic episode of iCarly.
I think season 4 is so far the best season of the show.
I thought that this was an awesome episode of "iCarly. I thought it was funny when Sam and Freddie don't think that Carly can prank anyone. I thought it was funny when Carly finds out from Spencer that he used to pull pranks alot when he was a kid and stopped after the garlic powder incident. It was cool that they played the audio from "Drake and Josh". I thought it was hilarious when Spencer is starting to get pranky and pranks everyone. Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Gibby try to pull a prank on Spencer to teach him a lesson but Spencer already knew their trick and didn't fall for it. I thought it was very funny when Gibby accidentally fell down and broke his arm. I thought it was hilarious when Tee-Bo's friend's face would light up in the dark which was one of Spencer's pranks (of course). I also thought it was funny when Carly brought all of Spencer's old classmates who were the garlic powder victims of his prank. It was also funny when Spencer's old classmates were kicking him and then ran off which kind of didn't make sense to me but oh well. Overall, a perfect episode of "iCarly".
So funny! Do not miss this installment of iCarly. You might not get much development but I guarantee you'll laugh all the way through. This episode was definitely better than I expected, when I read the guide for this, I thought this episode was going to be bad, but I stand corrected.
This episode was solely focused on Spencer, and I got to say, they should have episodes more focused on him more often. My favorite part of the episode was definitely the prank montage. Gibby actually served a purpose in this episode, unlike how he played a part in the last episode. Looks like the writers are finally giving something Gibby to do know that he is a series regular.
Just overall a fun episode of iCarly tonight, don't miss out, you'll laugh all the way through, no doubt about that.
For the second straight episode iCarly started off pretty poorly. The first scene was absolute nonsense, and I am actually glad that they are cutting down on the actual scenes showing the web show. This is becoming more of a standard sitcom and that is a good transition in my opinion. As soon as they stopped talking about iCarly and started talking about pranks, the episode got a lot better. The scenes with Spencer pranking peole were nothing short of hilarious and I was surprised to see an adult acting like this. The musical montage definitely had me lol'ing.
carly recruits spencer to help her prank sam and freddie, and when he helps her, spencer soon can't stop pulling pranks. can carly and her friends help him stop?
good episode, one of the few to actually make me laugh hard (Spencer's flashback to his prank in school was funny i thought). Otherwise I kind of thought it was a bit average by iCarly standards. I dunno why. overall my grade for this episode would be a B- or so. It was pretty good but i did not enjoy it as much as i would have liked to. Still good
This episode by far had a great plot and I thought it was hilarious all while keeping a normal sitcom feel which has been a major component to helping Season 4 be my favorite so far. I felt the show was declining rapidly but miraculously they have saved it. My favorite scene had to be Spencer pranking everyone along with the montage. My least favorite and perhaps most misunderstood scene was the classmates beating up Spencer but even a respectful show like icarly is aloud to make errors. I am looking forward to tonight's episode and will be writing a review as soon as it is over. Overall : 10
Carly asks for help from Spencer to help her on a prank to do on Sam, and Freddie and since then Spencer cannot stop pulling pranks on everybody getting out of control.
Great episode really! This episode had me laughing a lot really really really really hard! It was so funny! Carly had a problem on pranking people because she sucked had it like really really really bad and her friends thought so too Sam, and Freddie! So Spencer helped her on doing just one prank that she pulled on Sam, and Freddie and ever since then Spencer has been pulling pranks and getting out of control which was funny to me. So Carly gets old classmates of Spencer from his 9th grade year that he pranked on that year to tell him to stop!
Its been a long time since iCarly has had 3 top notch episodes in a row, honestly if Season 4 keeps this awesomeness up..than this may become the best season of iCarly. Spencer's pranks were golden and funny! the song that played during the pranks was funny too.
A lot of people hate the ending, because Spencer got "beat up",but honestly,I felt bad for Spencer, but it was funny and well disearved. The flashback was funny as helloms. Sam crushing on Spencer was awesome to know! I doubt they'll get together though, most delusional fans believe they will though. Overall, another top notch episode in the marvelous Season 4!
