What I liked: Spencer at the end saying Carly was grounded, "Holy similar!", the look alikes messing up the machine and confusing Spencer.

Good episode. The plot wasn't great but the humor was pretty good. The only thing I did not like about this episode was I found Carly annoying, after Spencer told her he did not want her going to the MMA fight. The rest was either good or average. B- or so as my final grade
  • A huge disapointement, but not as much as iSpace Out

Okay, this episode was one of the worst episodes of iCarly ever.Okay,so at the beginning of this episode, they get a message from some MMA Fighter's son.And soon,The crew get invited to an MMA fight. But Freddie's retarded mom won't let him.So they try to get Spencer to talk to his mom,but Spencer agrees and won't let Carly go.So they sneak out.Okay,I'll stop right there.First off,Carly was a HUGE brat in this episode to Spencer. She just wanted to go by taking his smoothie.Second, this episode isn't even a special. Why do creators make horrible disapointments and call them specials?I though this would be about a girl who steals Carly's identity. But no,they just use them to SNEAK OUT?What kind of plot is that?Okay so at the end, nothing good happens, they just go practice iCarly.Okay, what about Spencer? He got injured.Okay,so this episode is horrible in many ways.
  • I was very disappointed in this episode.

Alright, so I missed it when it aired. It sounded pretty exciting, but when I watched it from an encore, I was disappointed. It was stupid and once again twisted a moral. First off, why is Carly all of sudden a brat? I know Spencer can tend to let her get away with stuff but in this episode she goes to far by throwing the tantrum. What's worse is that she acts like a little kid! It's embarassing to say even my sister, whose four, wouldn't act as bad as Carly did! Spencer was right, and Carly can't take it. What's worse is that the moral is saying, 'throw a tantrum to get your way. Carly gets away wit sneaking out and Spencer gets beaten. What's worse is she didn't help him or any thing, she just went a long with the show and showed the whole thing in slow motion as if it were nothing! It wasn't funny and she should have been punished rather than getting away with it. I know I sound like a parent right now but this is the truth. Poor Spencer. 1/10
  • Such a good episode...

Carly, Sam, and Freddie decide to go to a Martial Arts Fighting thing even though Spencer and Freddie's mom said not to. The look-alikes were dead on beside Freddie's, his looked nothing like him. There were many seddie moments, and even creddie moments. Spencer builds a huge model of Newton's balls and it looked pretty cool. That fighter dude was huge! His muscles were bigger than Sam's head. That whole scene at school was really funny, but I was kinda sad that Sam admitted that she liked another guy, perhaps he's the one Carly makes Sam all girly for in the next episode?
  • THIS is the episode we were hyped up for???? Man, it wasn't worth it. Not at all...

I know you iCarly fans probably wanna kill me; all of my reviews have been negatives, but I think this will be my last one. Anyway, I don't get why we were so hyped for this special. I mean, I thought it'd be a freakin' TV movie, but we didn't get that! All we got was just a regular episode that ran a little over time, but that was because of all those stupid commercials. Anyway, nothing really great happened in this one. Well, maybe the great disappointment we got from it. What was up with Carly being such a brat in this episode? She's never really acted like that before in the past! On top of that when Spencer finally decided to comfront her by saying, she just yells back, "Since you stopped giving me what I want!" OMG! Are the writers trying to teach people it is alright to be brats? Or am I one of the rare persons on Earth who think it's not okay to be selfish? Anyway, nothing funny happened in this; in fact, I didn't laugh once. But the worst part was the ending. Why? Because I thought Spencer was going to punish Carly and she'd feel bad and apologize. But after Spencer is nearly killed, Carly simply goes off with her friends to do her web show. If I were her, I would've skipped the web show after what she'd just done. On top of that, Carly never said she was sorry and although Spencer did ground her for two weeks, it was during her web show when she couldn't hear him. So in summary, I thought this was an overhyped special and wasn't funny. Grade: F. Teen_Tomboy, out!

Did anyone else not think that Carly lookalike really looked like her?

Here we saw an MMA themed episode of iCarly, so naturally I loved it as I am a huge fan of the sport. It was a bit of a negative look at MMA as Spencer said, "those fights can get pretty rough" but hey, it exposed the rising sport to kids so that was a good thing.

This show does set a bid of a bad idea for kids though. From Carly showing how tantrums can lead to getting what you want, to her disobeying Spencer and then getting away with it, this is not a good role model. But I suppose that is part of Carly's appeal, she is not the perfect kid.

Good episode, definitely recommend watching this one.

Ok. im quite new to this whole review thing. I intended to start 3 monthes ago but this wbesite used to freeze my computer. But thats besides the point. This episode upset me because it just wasn't any good. What's worse the idea was pretty good but the way they set it out was so wrong. The spenser VS the wrestler was deffo not funny. There's a funny way of someone getting hurt and that's not it.The only bit that was ok was that bit when the lookalikes were picking random phrases from the computer. And sneaking out? Been done to many times. Too many times. However despite the average rating I gave it, I prefered it to the pathetic English VS Americans idea (I rocked the vote). I'm English, but I think you americans are pretty cool. i think its unfair for a show to make us look like horrible people. WE'RE NOT! As far as I'm concerned that is the end of the matter.
  • pretty good episode, but not one of the best.

um...how can i put this...Spencer, i can't believe how...responsible you were in this episode. it was like you were a whole new person. you changed from being goofy and fun, to responsible and frankly, kinda mean. i have to say, the look-alikes didn't really look like carly sam and freddie that much. the only similar look-alike was sam's. sam's look-alike was really funny btw. "hey, when did freddie start looking so hot?" lol. pure awesome-ness! freddie's person looked like a pug, i don't mean to be cruel, but he looked like one. carly's person was just...average. kinda wierd though. and i LOVED jackson colt. "i didn't throw him hard enough to kill him or anything." AWESOME!
  • This shows the dark side of Spencer

Ok what I ment by that is that Spencer starts to act more mature in this episode and that might mean he's done being strange and funny, here's why. Carly, Sam, and Freddie try to sneak out to an MMA fight to meet a famous wrestler, Jackson Colt, but Spencer doesn't think it's good for them to go beacause the fights are really violent, so he doesn't make them go. So Carly tries to find people who look like just like her, Sam and Freddie, and they found them. Spencer finds out they left to go to the fight and Jackson Colt throws Spencer at a table for yelling at Carly. In the end Carly was going to be grounded but Spencer was really unconsious. 6/10
  • Best episode of the season so far, but still not up to par with the first season.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie want to go to a mixed martial arts fight for to interview one of the fighters for iCarly. Unfortunately for them, Spencer and Mrs. Benson tell them they can't go. Mrs. Benson not wanting Freddie to go was predictable, since she's overprotective and I understand why Freddie was upset. But for Spencer to not want Carly to go either, you know it has to be bad. Spencer is Carly's brother, not her parent and Spencer is not very strict with Carly. He basically lets her do anything she wants. So Spencer tries to be strict for once and Carly throws a temper tantrum. Carly is usually the good one who does what she's told, so her reaction was very out of character. Anyway, the three of them trick their "look alikes" into staying in the iCarly studio to trick Spencer into thinking it's really them. They locked the door to the studio so Spencer couldn't get in. Um, did they ever think that Spencer could just find a way to unlock the door? Well, he did. He goes to the fight to bring Carly home and ends up getting beat up by one of the fighters. When they go home they leave Spencer on the couch passed out and party with the guy who beat him up. Now why would they do that? I have no idea. And then the episode just ends like that. No conclusion to the episode, it just ends. It kind of makes you feel like you're missing something. The episode itself was a little enjoyable, but definitely not as good as any of the first season episodes. I will admit though that this one has been better then the last few. I also loved the fact that Malese Jow guest starred as Carly's look alike. I'm a huge fan of her and I thought that was great. Anyway, I'm really hoping iCarly can step it up and be the fun, enjoyable show it was when it first started. It really is a great show, it's just been going through a rough past. I can only hope that the next episode will be better then this one.
  • I was kinda dissapointed.

When I first heard about this episode I expected that the three (Carly Sam and Freddie) would meet look alike's and I wasn't wrong. The story is very predictable and personally since i kiss icarly has been losing its fine touch. Carly and spencer suddenly become reversed. Carly is a spoiled little girl who throws a tantrum (she is like 15!) and Spencer who lets her hang out with a girl arrested three times and a guy who refuses to let go of a serious crush. Aks her if HE should be worried about her getting a detention. Nearly kills her with a hammer. Can't take care of a goldfish. And just does what Carly wants just suddenly becomes mature. The story is very predictable. Carly Sam and Freddie want to go and see a proffesional wrestler named Jackson after his son invites them but Spencer and Mrs.Benson don't approve. They get the three look alikes they see on the beginning of a webcast to pretend to be them while they sneak away to meat Jackson. Spencer comes to the rescue and nearly get killed in the process. I was most dissapointed with this episode and I hope to see improvement.
  • I thought the episode had some good slapstick, but wasn't what I thought it would be...

After I watched the "special" iCarly episode, iLook Alike, I said to myself, "Why is this episode considered a special on Nickolodean?" The episode was shown to be from 8:00pm to 8:34pm. This is Nick's way in trying to lure more viewers of the episode, pretending it is a big special by saying it goes over the regular half-hour timeslot, which in the end didn't. Wow! 4 minutes over! My heart is POUNDING! The look-alikes looked a little like the iCarly crew, but they could of done better with that. The Newtons Balls parts of the episode was the most funniest part of the episode, while the parts including Spencer being flipped over by the MMA guy and all MMA part were a bit bland. The iLook Alike episode was a bit funny, but I had my pros and cons about it..
  • Now Spencer decides to be responsible? And since when does he know physics?

    7.0
    "Good"
This episode was sort of boring, in my opinion. It's all about a kid named Kevin Colt, son of a professional fighter Jackson Colt, inviting the iCarly crew to his dad's match to meet him (he is a huge iCarly fan). Spencer thinks that it would be too dangerous and doesn't let Carly go. (And he thinks it's okay for Carly to stay up all night [iWant a World Record] and hang out with an ex-criminal [Sam] etc.)

So Carly and the others find people that look like them so they can go to the match without Spencer thinking that they were gone. And it didn't even work - Spencer knew immediately that it wasn't them and went to get his sister. Then Jackson Colt hurts Spencer, Carly is grounded for two weeks, and they do random stuff on iCarly - The End.

This episode was 30 minutes, but it only felt like ten. This was not the best episode (though I did not expect it to be) and I hope iCarly does get better. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.

I recommend this episode to big fans only.
  • Is it me, or is iCarly starting to go downhill?

Okay, so I decided to turn into another predictable iCarly episode. I just need to watch the trailer for the episode to know how they storyline was. Just the iCarly gang getting invited to an event and can't go. True I had no idea what the event was until Freddie told them about this fighter coming to town. Predictable, these episodes are just starting to get more and more predictable. Even the humor is starting to lack style. This episode is placed on one of the bottom episodes of my favorite list. Carly becomes a spoiled brat, Spencer just now become responsible, and seriously, the food jokes have been wearing thin for Sam for awhile now.

Really, I barely laughed at this episode; and I will still watch it, but personally if it doesn't get any better, then I'm tuning out by season 3.
