This episode was just horrible!!!! Honestly I would've given it a 1 but I liked the golfball thing! It is the same thing as iWanna Stay With Spencer. Carly can't leave in he middle of the first season!!! It was sooo riducling!!!! I hate shows that are too predictable!!!
  • Good episode BUT seriously? just like "iWanna Stay With Spencer"... they make the whole Carly leaving thing too early

Carly gets an invitation to attend a private school which would mean leaving Freddie, Sam and her webcast, iCarly. Freddie and Sam scheme to make sure that Carly stays. Meanwhile, Spencer builds a mini golf course that becomes popular. For the most part, this was a good and funny episode of "iCarly" for the most part BUT really? why did they make an episode like this and "iWanna Stay With Spencer" so early. For Pete's sake, this is Season 1 we are talking about. They are making these Carly is leaving thing too early. Save the episodes like these for at least Season 2. I haven't seen this episode since probably the summer but I remember most of the positives about this episode. The negative (you know, the ones that lowered my score to a 7.5 instead of a 10) was when they made the Carly leaving thing too early and some parts felt a little dragged and boring. Spencer building his golf course all over the apartment was very funny. Gibby was very funny in this episode especially when he and his friends were attacking that woman over the purple golf ball... which was a trick from Sam and Freddie. The ending was pretty heartwarming as well. It was too predictable that Carly would stay... seriously? stop being too predictable writers... I think even children under 7 know that Carly isn't going to that private school. Overall, a good and funny episode of "iCarly"... considering the fact how much Season 1 sucks, this is one of the few Season 1 episodes that is actually enjoyable. 7.5/10

A good season one episode of iCarly here. I am usually a fan of the first season of shows as I feel they work harder to build an audience and think they are the best year for most shows. Just look at That 70's Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Arrested Development, Newsradio etc.

But iCarly got better over time. They did not need to resort to a bunch of kids attacking a lady in search of a purple golf ball to produce laughs.

And the serious episodes they do now do not feel as forced as this one did.

Did I laugh? Yes. Was it an enjoyable storyline? Yes, but saying all that it was still a bit of a mess at times. I mean Sam and Freddie so easily working together?

In this episode, Carly is thinking about leaving to go to a school called Briarwood Prep. But this means the end to iCarly and possibly her friendship with Sam and Freddie. So they try to sabotage an interview with the headmaster. It seems to work, but when Carly gets mad at the headmaster, she considers giving Carly another chance. But at the end it does not seem that Carly went or got another chance.

A decent episode, some laughs, good plot, and some sad emotion. My overall grade would be about an A, and I think it is one of the best from s1

This episode was great. We all had to know that Carly wouldn't really switch schools, but it was interesting to see just how much she really was considering it.

I know what Freddie and Sam did was out of love for Carly, but they really were being pretty selfish. Friends never destroy another friend's dream. And I really hated how they were acting like jerks just thinking about themselves. Carly should have been a lot more mad at them than she really was. She should have yelled longer or done SOMETHING else proving how mad she was. She really considered switching schools, and it should have made her more mad knowing how how her own friends were trying to sabotage her chance of going. All in all, a great episode. I really loved it.
  • It was very funny, maybe one of the best episodes.

Carly has a choice of leaving her school and going to Brierwood. Sam and Freddy really want Carly to stay because of their webshow. Carly is pretty sure she'll until she looks at the website for Brierwood. It looks so awesome. Then she has a dream about how great the school would be. It includes yummy frozen yogurt with nut topping. Also, the students get relaxing massages. Then Carly wakes up and wonders if she'll go to the school or not. The interview just had to be tommorow. Sam and Freddy hear that she might want to go so they plan to ruin the interview. Since Spencer was building a mini golf course at the house they planned to get kids from school to do the golf course during the interview. Once the headmaster of Brierwood came the house there was screaming kids, a mini golf course and Carly still in her robe. Carly takes the woman upstairs and starts the interview. Meanwhile Sam and Freddy were downstairs telling the kids that there was a magic purple ball in the lady's pocket so the kids charge upstairs and attack the lady. Carly pulls a kid from the crowd and asks why they were doing that. He tells Carly so she goes downstairs and yells at her two friends. They say that they just did it for her. Then lady comes down with her clothes ripped and an angry expression so she leaves and Sam and Freddy say sorry. Though Carly never went to Brierwood.

In this episode of Icarly, Carly is faced with a major problem. She has to choose to go to another school or stay at the one she's currently in with her best friends Sam and Freddy. Anyway Carly is still trying to make up her mind, and her interview is only a couple days away. Meanwhile Sam and Freddy try and find a way to stop that from happening. They realize that Spencer built a mini-golf course and invite everyone in their school to try it for free, but they also call the lady who was supposed to interview Carly. They tell the lady that Carly couldn't make it and Freddy poses as Spencer saying that he sprained his buttox LOL!!!! That was so funny!! So the interview lady comes to Carly's house and finds all these crazy kids playing mini-golf not to mention Carly in a bath robe. So Carly takes her upstairs and they try and do the interview there, but Sam and Freddy tell all the kids that whoever gets the purple golf ball gets something special. And they told them that the interview lady has it. So they run upstairs and Gibby is the first one trying to get it. Well to rap it up the interview lady leaves angrily just barely making it out of there screaming "I don't have the purple golf ball" and Carly decides to stay with Sam and Freddy!!

In this episode, Carly gets a scholarship to a private school, but she's not sure if she should go or not. Sam and Freddy don't want her to leave, because they're scared about iCarly. So, they come up with a plan to make sure Carly doesn't get into the school. First of all, I loved all the comedy in this episode. Like in the begginning when the water foutain kept getting Carly wet and how she drank out of it. I also laughed at the mini gold course Spencer made, that was funny. I loved the dreams that Carly had because they were funny. When Sam texted message Freddy and told him Carly finally loved him, that made me laugh and when Sam was doing an imitation of Freddy's mother. Or when Freddy was imitating Spencer. "I heart my buttocks." Ha! Ha! I also loved the way the kids messed up the interview. I was closed to tears though in some parts, but I'm glad it all worked out though.

This episode is exactly what the series needed. I think that Carly, Miranda Cosgrove, is the funniest person. Especially when she says, "I am going to have more frozen yogurt now!" The subplot for this episode was great. I loved how Spencer made the golf course and all the kids were playing on it. I laughed my head off when I saw all of the kids looking for the purple ball that would win them free golf. This episode was special in every way and had good character development in it. I hope iCarly makes some more fantastic episodes! Keep up the good work everyone!

This episode has to be one of the best, if not the very best episode of iCarly. It was filled with comedy but still mixed that with TONS of drama. It was kinda silly but it did keep my laughing especially when the kids were looking for the little purple ball. That was freakin hilarious. Thank good for awesome episodes like this!

This episode is exactly why I watch this series. Although I felt that the destroying the chance for the main character to go somewhere or do something has kinda been done already, I still loved it anyway. it was nice to actually see Carly get mad and Sam and Freddie for once but I just wish she was actually more mad at them than she really was. And this episode was kinda another drama episode, which I enjoyed, but it just kinda took me by surprise that it would be another drama episode in the first season. On the plus side, this episode also got me laughing for quite a while, mostly for what Carly was saying.

iMight Switch School premiered yesterday and it was another great episode. For being the star of iCarly, Carly got a full scholarship to a very expensive and nice private school in Seattle. Freddie and Sam don't like the idea of her going, and try to stop her, even though Carly has some thoughts of going there. On her interview with one of the people that work at the private school, Sam and Freddie ruin it. Meanwhile, Spencer builds a some mini golf course holes, and it's part of Seddie's plan to ruin Carly's interview. They throw a party while the interview is going on. Then Carly gets mad at them, but then she decides that she doesn't want to go to that private school.

Carly has the oppurtunity to switch to a nicer private school for free. Freddie and Sam don't want her to switch schools. Spencer is building some mini-golf courses. They showcase them on iCarly and some friends want to try them out. Sam thinks of a way for Carly to blow her interview with the school. They invite everyone over for a mini-golf party and they get the school to have the interview at Carly's house. Chaos errupts! Carly ends up staying at her school though.

This episode was pretty good! I recognized Lise Simms from Phil of the Future. It had funny parts and weird parts. This episode gets a 9.0!
  • FORGET Hannah Mon-whatever! iCarly keeps getting BETTER AND BETTER every week. The new episode iMight Switch Schools had me laughing nonstop!! Even my dad was laughing. read my review to find out more about iMight Switch Schools.......

This was another perfect episode of iCarly. In the first scene a rich boy (class president) invites Carly to interview to come to his fancy prep school. Carly is flattered but she's not sure she wants to go. At the end of this first scene Carly does an amazingly cool trick and lets the water fountain squirt into her mouth when she is like 20 feet away! I'm not sure how she did it but it was really funny.

Carly doesn't know if she wants to go to the fancy school (Brierwood or something) but she decidedes to at least meet the lady in charge. But Sam and Freddie are afraid Carly will leave RIdgeway (their school) so they ruin Carly's interview with the lady so she won't like Carly and not invite Carly to the new school. Carly gets mad at Sam and Freddie for doing this but she forgives them because they didn't do it to be mean, they just did it because they would miss Carly too much if she went to a different school. I would have done the same thing to keep my best friend at my school for sure!!!

And there was a hilarious part of the show where Spencer is building a minigolf coarse at their house - it was AMAZING! And Gibby was back in this episode too. he is hilariuous because he always takes his shirt off for no reason!

me and my dad and my older brother who is 16 laughed out loud many times watching this icarly so you should definitely see this one if you missed it. it's a classic!!!

i did like this ep..the only thing that annoyed me (and i assure you it was not the ep) was that my stepmother decided to call me to help her w/ stuff like every 5 mins so im like sitting there missing most of it..but from what i saw i can honestly say i liked this ep..i mean it was awesome..man i like the school in carlys dream..i seriously want to go to that school lol..that would be awesome..i would not be shy about answering questions anymore lol..then i like how sam and freddie sabotaged her, that was pretty funny..the ep turned out good and everyone ended up still being friends..the only person hurt was the interview lady lol

After getting a little janky fountain splash, Carly in confronted by a student from Bryersville Prepatory School. He would like her to attend the classes, but that means that Carly will have to leave Ridgeway, she'd miss Sam, her best friend, and Freddie, the loveable boy-next-door. Carly has to think hard about this, and decides she'll give Bryersville Prep. a shot after an amazing dream about the school, unfortunately, Sam and Freddie do not have the same thoughts. Spencer builds a mini-golf course, and iCarly gives it some publicity, but it doesn't pay off. Sam and Freddie use the golf course to their advantage to make the headmaster of Bryersville think the Shay apartment is the worst place to pluck new students!

This episode has to be the best episode so far. I loved it.
