iCarly

I had soo much fun with this episode. Ms.Briggs is such a bitch.

I think this episode really captured the beginning moment. The talent show part of the episode bored me out of my mind. But I really enjoyed the other parts. I like how spencer's chararcter was introduced. The way he just fell from a pole and stuff. All and all this episode was a pretty good introduction to the iCarly seiries.

I thought this was a perfect beginning for iCarly. This is one of the really good episodes of iCarly, i really loved it. And this is the episode when iCarly is born. I thought the talent show auditions were cool and creative and funny, and i loved the iCarly webcast. The acting was awesome and the storyline was creative and awesome. There was one thing i didn't get, they got a lot of viewers on their first webcast and didn't even tell anyone. but i thought this was a perfect iCarly overall 10/10.

I enjoyed this episode. It starts off with Principal Franklin laughing at a picture and then Miss Briggs and Carly walking in and later on in the scene; Miss Briggs is getting upset over the picture.
The next scene introduces Sam who is a rough character who has just pushed a kid into a locker.
The way that Carly handles Sam is quite nice and good for her.

I thought the spashface video of 27,000 was way too much views, not very good by the writers here. The same with the actual webshow itself which drew around 37,000 views. It felt quite unrealistic.

This episode was good overall, a good start to iCarly.

Carly is put in charge of the talent show, something she does not want. Her and her best friend Sam are seen making fun of their teacher Miss Briggs. Freddie video tapes them and puts it online, and they soon have fans, so they decide to make their own web show, and thus, iCarly is born.



Good introduction to the series. I wish it was shown more because I have not seen it for a while. Good episode though with some good humor and a good plot to start the series, and as such A+ is my final grade

I thought that this was a very perfect start for "iCarly". I thought it was interesting to see the beginning of "iCarly". Spencer falling down from the ceiling in the beginning of the episode was very funny. I thought it was very funny that Carly and Sam's punishment was to be to have auditions after Sam got Carly in trouble by putting a picture of Ms. Briggs in a hippo picture. The kids auditioning for the school talent show as hilarious. I thought it was very funny when Freddie got the footage of Carly and Sam talking bad about Ms. Briggs. Although, I didn't think it was appropriate of Carly and Sam to say that Ms. Briggs had pointy boobs. That's what makes me not enjoy this show sometimes. The inappropriate jokes that the writers put in this show. It's suppose to be a kids show... well mostly teens but we know kids watch this show too. I can let that inappropriate joke about Ms. Briggs' pointy boobs slide. I thought it was funny when Sam dragged Freddie all the way to Carly's apartment. The ending was also funny that the gang came up with the webshow called "iCarly". i is for internet and Carly is from Carly of course. The webshow never impresses me in the later episodes but I found it gross but entertaining when that dude got milk coming out of his eye. It was also funny that the gang had a party at the very end of the episode. Overall, a perfect pilot of "iCarly". 10/10

The beginning of the show. Carly and Sam are having a talent show auditions so they need the help of Freddie who knows all the tech stuff. But during the auditions they make fun of their teachers boobs. Freddie accidently placed it on splash face. Later reactions are coming in and Carly suggests to make a weekly web cast and Freddie invents the name Icarly. So they begin with a guy that can shoot milk out of his eyes and a girl that plays trumpet while bouncing on a pogo stick. What I don't get is how they got so many viewers in so little time but that's something they worked on in iwant more viewers.

Like so many Nick shows, they take a supporting actor from one program and give them their own. Such was the case here as Miranda Cosgrove from Drake and Josh became the star here of iCarly. The pilot definitely had some funny parts, and by pilot standards it was a success, but the show has improved by leaps and bounds since this installment. The writing is wittier, the acting is better and the storylines are more clever.



That being said, it is easy to see by this episode how this show was able to become an overnight sensation with the tween market.

This episode was very good for a first episode.I liked how Carly sttood up for the kids at her school and at the talent show.Freddie`s love for Carly is revealed and we meet Sam the raging but not heartless bully,the horrible Miss Briggs,Spencer the Artsy,wierd,Law school drop out who is Carly`s big brother.And we meet Carly herself who is a Loyal,Modest,Kind,Genorouse,Funny,and cute little teen girl who the webshow is named after,ofcourse.Sam`s cruelty to Freddie is pretty funny in this episode.So now i only have a bout 10 words to type and i will meet my destination of 100 frekin words.

I know i copied the person with the old man avatar but what else could I give in the description? The only reason I said that was because I only think this episode was ok. I mean it was a pretty good start to the series, but as we all know the beginning of a series isn't always that good, exact opposite of what I said while I was reviewing "Iwantmoreviewers". The talent acts on this episode were pretty good, but now theyr'e kind of lame. All I'm saying is, this episode was not bad, but it was just an ok start to the series.

Coming from starting the show in the middle of its second season, I found the pilot to be a great beginning to one of the better teen shows. Since this isn't my first iCarly episode, I already understand the main plot of the series and this was like a prequel to how it started. This episode clearly shows the personalities of the main characters and this is used to bring the comedy to the show. The only problem I had with the episode is that it isn't as funny as some of the others, but not comparing it to the rest, it is still an overall good beginning. One aspect of "iPilot" that I found pleasing was the character of Ms. Briggs. I can totally relate to having a teacher like her: unreasonable, mean, and leaving us with the question, "Why do people like her become teachers?" Overall, this episode was pretty good and it made me want to continue watching the series.

It all starts with Carly getting in trouble with one of the teachers, Ms.Briggs, for pasting her face on the body of a rino/hippo on piece of paper, her punishment was to handle auditions on Saturday to find great talents from kids. Carly forced Sam to go for getting her in trouble, and Freddie went with too. All of the kids talents were horrible until they found a talent that was great to them, while they got into a weird conversation about Ms.Briggs crazy pointy boobs! Freddie recored them talking about that on his camera and uploaded it on Splashface, Carly and Sam was worried if Mr.Briggs saw the video, but on the bright side alot of comments off of Splashface were really postive and people wanted them to make another show, which came to the idea from Carly of making a webshow doing anything they want, saying anything they want, which lead up to Freddie coming up with the name, iCarly, after their first webcast it had over 700,000 views and they all hosted a crazy hat party in the end! Final grade: A+++

what's up with dan schneider it's the worst show i've evur saw!they think they're funny ha , funny carly and sam wouldn't be funny even on a million bilion trillion years it's the horriblest episode on tv change to the channel i'd raher telletubbies isaw the first episode and ichange the channel hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorible internet shw, hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorible show spencer & sam are kinda funny and freddy sometimes but carly... so please, if you watch the show change to the cahannel, nick, horrible show, ALL icarly episodes ar trash compared with the other nick shows, so my final review is ihate icarly

"iPilot" tells about how Sam,Carly,and Freddie end up doing a popular webshow.It all starts to rebel against their mean teacher,Ms.Briggs (notice I said Ms not Mrs and I said mean teacher XD) and then it turns into a world-wide hit.I thought this episode was a good example of iCarly's brand of comedy throughout the series.Unlike Dan's other show,Drake and Josh.It failed to do this and the brand of comedy changed to more intelligent humor later on in the series.Dan's other show Zoey 101 DID do this and turned out to be an awsome start to the series.I love iCarly and it all started with this episode. 10/10

This pilot couldn't have been any better. The way that they explained hoe Carly, Sam, and Freddie ended up doing the auditions together and how everyone liked the video that Freddie put up by accident was excellent. In my opinion, they introduced how they created iCarly in the perfect way. This episode was really funny for me, suprisingly for it being the pilot. And from how funny the PILOT was, I knew that this series would be one that I wanted to watch. And I was right. Pretty much the best series that Nick could create.



You couldn't ask for a better pilot.

First Car;y gets in trouble for putting the Ms. Briggs' head on a rhinoceros's body on posters all over the school. Sam actually did the prank and Carly takes the blame for Sam. for her punishment Carly and Sam have to tape auditions for the school play. Freddie the next door neighbor has a BIG crush on Carly and agrees to film the auditions for the talent show. They make funny jokes, sleep, and make fun of the various acts. Some of them liked them and some hated the acts. Then they started to make fun of Ms. Briggs on camera. When Carly check Splash face, the site they posted the auditions for Ms. Briggs, it showed the video of Carly and Sam making fun of Ms. Briggs. Freddie said it would be off in the morning but 27,000 people already saw it saying they loved it. When they return to school Ms. Briggs doesn't let anyone they liked be in the talent show. They all think that they should do their own web show kids with bizarre talents. They all decide to call it iCarly. When they have the show it becomes a big hit with 37,000 views. In the end they have a crazy hat party and Carly thinks she will like being popular.

This is the first episode of iCarly and it started off great with Carly in the principals office with Ms.Brigg's head on a Hippo's body that was the funniest part. We learn in this episode that Freddie has a HUGE crush on Carly and he made Carly some breakfast. Sam and Freddie really hate eachother and almost got into a fight at the talent show autitions. Spencer falls off the ceiling and that must of hurt badly. I feel really bad for Sam and Carly because they had to deal with Ms.Briggs and had to waste there Saturday filming talent audition. A great way to the series.

anyway, they made bad jokes about Miss Brigg's and Miss Brigg heard it after Freddie accidentally puts the vid with them saying those bad words. Viewers said that she and Sam were funny so they decided to make a web called iCarly.

i loved this episode so much. but i really didnt like the ending during the party cos there was NO FREDDIE in there. and Carly was so stiff when she threw the hat. thus, i cut og .6 points

well, ive got to say. this is a really great start to the show. just like drake and josh :)

EDIT: btw, when Carly was "Oh my god, we made fun of Miss Brigg's crazy pointy boobs" Oh man, that was just plain hilarious. The guy who told the egg was hilarious too.

i love this episode. it is so close to perfect. i thought that some of the kids who auditioned for the talent show should have been given a second chance, oh well, mrs. briggs is mean and she will never learn to like icarly. dan schnider is so funny, i am so glad he created a show this good. spencer is the funniest character in my opinion, he reminds me of jim carrey. i hope that all of the people on icarly keep up the great work and we all hope to see more fantastic episodes. live long icarly, we all know you can do it!

i like how bold they are in this ep..its very bold to start a web show that adults may be against since it shows kids being themselves and really has no rules..i love that..i wish there were more stuff like that out there..and i love how right away they showed that freddie loved carly and b/c of that he named the web show icarly lol..but yeah i have hated mrs. briggs ever since this ep..what a mean teacher..and at this time i thought she was the meanest lol..but yeah that was horrible and those kids were bad but some of them were good and deserved a chance

There had been a big build up and was excited when they actually showed it.



And, it really is good!

I love this episode! Once I saw this episode (even though it was the first one), I was hooked! I like the way they explained the characters and I love how iCarly started. I think this episode was really well written. If you had never seen this show before, then watch this episode. Because it explains the characters really well. Though, Freddy was a little annoying in this episode. Still, I loved the humor. I also could not believe how those people did those things for the talent show. This episode made me LOL. So, if you haven't seen this episode, then watch it!

This was the pilot to iCarly, and it started us to the series quite well. It was hilarious, and was filled with some very great jokes. It introduced us to the characters well.



The opening was fantastic, Carly (Miranda) walks in to the principal's office and is in trouble with a teacher (Mindy) walking her in, claiming she photo copied her head on a rhino. But it was really her best friend Sam Puckett (Jeanette). Briggs punishes her to recording the talent show audtitions and Carly and Sam have some great fun. Until Carly's neigbor boy Freddie (Nathan) comes in. After all the fun they decide to make a webshow!

This is a good way to start a series! After Sam tells Carly to Photodoc Ms. Briggs' head to the body of a rhino, Ms Briggs punishes Carly by making her the woman in charge of the Ridgeway School Talent Show auditions. But most of the performances are very,very lame! So there was a kid who Carly and Sam thought looked like Ms. Briggs, except her crazy,pointy boobs. So they were talking about it, and Freddie was filming them talking about her boobs. When it was dark, Carly was going to check SplashFace to see if Ms. Briggs saw the video. But then she saw Sam and her talking about Ms. Briggs' crazy,pointy boobs. They read the comments and the viewers thought that it was good. When they were at school Ms. Briggs found out and they got detention. But then they were talking about the comments that the viewers wrote and thought about making a webshow called iCarly. And they start having people doing wacky stuff. So they checked the viewers and it was 37,000! A success!

Carly, Sam and Freddie have to tape kids auditioning for the talent show as punishment from Ms. Briggs. After Freddie accidentally puts up Carly and Sam making fun of Ms. Briggs's boobs, they are afraid that she will see it. They do get positive feedback though. They decide to start a webcast and feature the cool kids they saw audition.



This episode was great! It was really funny and really introduced the show well! Miranda Cosgrove was funny from Drake and Josh and this show is a definitely as funny or even funnier! I give this episode a 10 out of 10!

The pilot epidsodes are always the best ones. I like this show because its about two girls and 1 boy who has a crush on the star,Carly who tries ti impress her by getting her extra supplies for her detention with Sam on the week end which is for Sam putting their teacher,Ms.Francine Briggs' head on a hippopotamous' body and Carly took the blame for it and of course they both got in trouble for it so ther homework was to have the auditions for the schol talent show and post them on the internet and they looked on the website that they posted it on to check if it worked and they checked the comments and people wanted more so they got an idea for a webcast and called it icarly.

This episode might just be the best way a series can start off. It wasn't perfect but I'm sure it's the closest thing you can get to perfect. It was about Carly's crazy teacher that puts her in charge of the school talent show. She gets Sam to help and Freddie to record the different talents. It turns out that Freddie didn't record the talents... he recorded them making jokes on Ms. Briggs! So when they upload it on a internet site when they don't know and Ms. Briggs sees! She decides that she won't let any of the people Carly chose because they weren't good enough for the show. So Carly, Sam, and Freddie decide to make a show of their own where other people can show off their talents no matter how weird they are. After their first web cast is a hit, they decide to name it iCarly and this is where the show really starts!



I liked this episode because it had a mix of everything. There were a few parts where you can really laugh out loud. They did a great job at introducing all the characters in a way so it doesn't get weird. It was much better than a lot of first episodes for shows like this. If iCarly does this good in the future, it just might beat Drake and Josh. I give this episode a 8 out of 10.

The first episode of iCarly really explains how iCarly happens and why..its really good. Carly is a teenage girl who lives with her older brother. She has 2 best friends. Sam and Freddie they both are pretty cool. They seem to fight alot though. The show had a amazing start off. I really think that the show will become a hit Teen Nick show. It accutually has a show with 13 year olds being the star. and its not all about unrealistic stuff. This is a realistic plot that can happen. Its really good I will be watching it for along amount of time.
