It was cool to see how Sam changed the grade of Carly. She was in the principals office and saw the password for the students grades. So she changed Carly's grade because she didn't receive a a plus, because she used the wrong kind of paper.Carly was freaking out because Spencer bought her a big screen TV. She felt guilty all the time. When the principal almost found out they gave him a microwave and Freddie tried to change Carly grade back and take the fall for her. But Sam told the principal she did it. So she got detention. And adjusted her detention time. This episode was one of the best in the 1 st season but still this isn't the best example to do things. In real life you could probably get expelled.
carly gets a "B" on her paper for history, even though the teacher said it was flawless, he just hated the paper she used. this upsets carly because she wanted an A so she would have all A's. Sam switches her grade to an A and Carly starts to feel guilty. Will the truth about what has happened come out?
great episode, i thought it was very funny and it had an interesting and entertaining plot, a strong episode from season one that definitely will get an A+ from me as a grade, simply a great episode from the show
I loved this episode because it was so exciting & nerve-wracking! I loved the B plot how Spencer says "hobos can't afford cable" Also I love when Carly was going crazy & freaking out. I also loved the end when Sam confesses, she looks so serious. I also liked how she says about the 42 inch TV. I also liked it when Ted & the CIA were over at their house & they gave Ted the microwave. My favorite part is when Carly pretended to faint 100 times. This is one of the best episodes of season 2 & probably the series in my opinion.
This episode was pretty great. I liked it because it showed something that is really typical Sam. Sam broke into the computer system and changed Carly's and Freddie's and even her own grades. Actually, she did that to help out her friends. And like I said, its typical of Sam to pull off a stunt like that.
I liked how Carly couldn't handle the pressure and felt that she just HAD to tell. But she deserved that grade anyway. And the quote "hobos can't afford cable" was hilarious. I just think Carly was worrying way to much though. But either way, it was a great episode.
I like Carly's shirt at the beginning. Wow now that is being neurotic about a history report. Wow now that is a strange lamp, only responding to the japanese word for it. I love how Freddie comes in then leaves with a "ok" look on his face, too funny.
Wow that teacher talks fast, I can't write that fast so I am impressed that Carly's class can. I love how the teacher comments on the grades out loud and how he doesn't like three hole paper, ok now that is a strange dislike. I like Spencer's sculture, that was too sweet of Spencer to make a sculture for his sister, what a proud big brother. I love how Sam has a sceduled meeting with the principal, I take it she gets into trouble alot, lol. I laughed at her responses to Principal Franklin's questions. Wow I know Sam was trying to help Carly but she can't even go five minutes without getting into trouble. Totally cool swear promise. Nice way to keep Freddie from telling, holding him back and pinning him. ;). Well that is one way to do it. Ohh Freddie got pinned by a girl twice, how embaressing ;). How on earth does Freddie have tools in his school bag? I laughed at Freddie and Carly crying cause they thought they were going to juvie. I love Carly and Freddie freaking out in the kitchen about the present. I love how Carly and Freddie both confess to the crime and not bring up each other and I love how Sam comes clean for the sake of her friends, what true friends those three are. Wow, Sam really hasn't learned her lesson, she still hacks into a computer and changes something.
Debi Derryberry plays the Teacher that came in to Principal Franklin's office. Telling the Principal that she can't log in to do the report cards. & she was eating a banana. I'm a BIG Fan of Debi Derryberry.
Debi Derryberry plays the Teacher that came in to Principal Franklin's office. Telling the Principal that she can't log in to do the report cards. & she was eating a banana. I'm a BIG Fan of Debi Derryberry. Debi Derryberry does the voice of Jimmy Neutron also a show on Nickelodeon. She also does the voice of Zatch Bell! that use to be on Cartoon Network. She also does a lot of other voice's also. She also sings. She does voice's for video game's. She's in Ghost World movie & Comic Book The Movie. I'm a BIG Fan of Debi.
Carly gets a B on her History report. So, overall for her history she gets a B+. However, she should deserve an A. So, Sam decided to change Carly's marks, hers and (for not giving Freddie $40) Freddie's.
Well, i love this episode. like almost all the iCarly episode. It was an amazing funny, meaningful episode. Well, i think one thing i learn was that cheaters never prosper or something like that. I dont care. It was funny.
Carly: Hey, you have to say Rampu like an angry old man
Spencer: (like an angry old man) Rampu!Rampu! Hey you should try it
Carly: Rampu!
Spencer: Rampu!
Carly: Rampu
(Freddie comes in and sees Spencer and Carly 'rampuing' and closes the door slowly)
Aw man. I love that part! Amazing episode i say again
I loved this episode of iCarly and I think it was probably the best in the series. I couldn't believe that Carly's teacher didn't give her an A+ just because there were three holes in the paper. I think, even though it was wrong, that it was really sweet when Sam tried to change Carly's grade to what she deserved. After Carly told Freddy Sam's secret, I started to laugh really hard. It cracked me up. Then, when Carly started to feel guilty for not telling the secret and when she started suffereing, also made me laugh. I loved it, though, when Carly got that A stuck to her butt. I thought I was going to die laughing. I'm glad Sam finally confessed, though, even though she tried to change her detention grade.
carly gets a b in history which ruins her normal straight a a average so when sam gets the opportunity she changes the grade and now carly is feeling guilty b/c she promised not to tell
ok this was a pretty decent ep..there were some good parts and it really showed off miranda's acting..i also love when actors or actresses take some things from their last show or movie like some quality..in drake and josh miranda was very smart and i like how they take that and use it in this show too since she is normally a straight a student..i was happy that sam did it as a friend but upset when she kept getting herself out of trouble..i felt so bad for carly b/c she shouldnt have to feel guilty for changing the grades b/c it was never her intention to get involved and i felt kinda bad for freddie too b/c he had to live w/ some guilt but not as much as carly
When Carly gets upset about receiving a B on her assignment just because of holepunching her paper, Sam changes the grade to an A, and forces Carly to promise not to tell anyone. But Carly knew that the grade is wrong, so she tells Freddie and they try to change the grade by hacking inot the school's computer. But they get caught by the police and Principal Franklin, but they couldn't tell the truth since they promised Sam not to tell, so they made up a lie. They manage to get off the hook with the lie, but Carly's guilt increases overtime when Spencer builds Carly a giant A sculpture and gives her her own television. Watch this episode to find out what happened next. This episode is fantastic, because not only it has an exciting storyline, but also a lesson about telling the truth.
"iPromise Not To Tell' was an awsome episode.I think it was one of this funniest episodes i've ever seen. Probably the funniest of the series. The storyline was just awsome. Not a boring done-to-death regular sitcom episode but, instead It was a really twisted, humorous episode.I wish iCarly would make more episodes like this. It reminds me of earlier Drake and Josh episodes which were my favorite. Sam shouldnt have changed the grades in the first place in my opion. I guess that was the plot though. Its TV so I guess ppl are bound to do things the wrong way to make the show more interestings.AWSOME EPISODE!
Whoa!! I was blown away by this episode! How could you not like iPromise Not to Tell? It was funny, entertaining, and at the very end, it was really touching. But only i Carly could pull it off, they got a touching moment and made it funny. Sam: Why don't we go egg his house?
Carly: He would probably like it!
Sam: Why would he like it?
Carly: Because eggs don't have three holes!!!
^ ^ ^ That above quote was absolutely hilarious, I love the Pear logo. This episode is iClassic! Dan Schneider is just... one of the greatest show creators on the face of the planet Earth! This episode was excellent beyond words. AGREE~
This episode was the best so far!I know that there will be more of these episodes like this in the show.Im gonna talk about the characters in the show and how they have changed into something better which will be great for the show in the future.
Well for starters this episode has caught my eye the most as you can see the characters have grown. I'll start withe Spencer seeing that he still the same is good but I noticed that he's matured alot like telling Carly to do the right thing even if it means breaking a promise. Now Sam I like how she changed Carly's grade even if it was wrong it show that she a real friend because a teacher gave her the grade that she didn't deserve and she setting things straigt. Freddie okay it's not just his character's acting(but he's already a great actor but he's physical aperance he's grown taller(now Carly's height), his voice is deeper, and his hair has grown taller.Last but not least Carly I am very impressed her acting has gotten better she more beliveable in sticky situations. Overal this wa a Fantastic eppy.
This episode is exactly why i watch this series. it was funny, clever, and very entertaining. it was about when carly got a B on her report, and then sam hacks into the comp and changes her grade. carly feels guilty, and makes freddie try to hack back, only to get the csu to come to their house and put carly and freddie under arrest!! i love the way it was planned out, especially the csi!! XD!!! i hope they get more episodes like this, because it was awesome. cant wait until the next epis come out, maybe theyll be as good as this one.
iPromise Not To Tell is now my new favorite episode! It was just so amazing. This episode is about when Carly receives a B on her history paper and she gets really mad, and then Sam hacks into the school's computer to change her grade to an A. When she does that she also brings some of Freddie's grades up. Spencer finds out that she gets and A, and he makes a giant "A" statue thing in her honor. Carly feels guilty about it, so she and Freddie try to change it back to a B. Then the principal along with the police find out, but then they get off the hook but Sam gets detentions. The episode ends when Sam tries to change her month of detention to a day of detention, but Carly catches her.
This was one of the funniest episodes this season! Carly comes home to see Spencer making a huge "A" art sculpture to celebrate Carly's straight A's. But she got one B because she turned in a paper on 3-holed paper. Sam decides to help out and sneaks on the principle's computer to change Carly's B to an A. Carly made a promise not to tell anyone but ends up telling Freddie. After knocking off the class brain Karen Yamakao off the Honors List and making her cry, Carly feels guilty and comes clean. This is a good example of an entertaining episode that also brings a good lesson too. As a side note I hope to see more of the Karen Yamakao character because the show needs a cute Asian girl.
this was a great episode. sam changes carly and freddies grades on the prinicipals computer, and guilt soon consumes carly as she is given gifts and her brother makes her a sculpture because of her straight As. i feel like there was also some foreshadowing in this episode of a possible romance between freddie and carly. at one point, freddie and carly are wrestling after carly tells freddie that sam had changed his grades as well, she then has to pin him on the ground in a a interesting position to calm him down. im almost positive that we will see some carly freddie romance sometime in this show. i think that they would be a good couple :) but overall a really good episode that i think is a good example of icarly.
Carly is excited about her history paper. If she gest an A, she will have straight A's. Unfortunately, Carly gets a B because she printed it on 3-hole paper. Sam hacks into the school computer and changes Carly's grade, plus, her own grades and Freddie's grades. Carly promises Sam that she won't tell. Freddie promises to Carly that he won't tell either. Carly and Freddie try to change the grades back without ratting on Sam. The CSA (Computer Security Association) finds them. Carly lies in order to avoid trouble. The guilt is too much, so Carly confesses. Sam then confesses that it was really her, not Carly.
This was a great episode! It was funny and had a good lesson! Lying is never good...unless you're Sam. Anyway, I give this episode a 10 out of 10!
