I don't like this show in genral, but when my friend came over and made me watch this episode, I just knew I had to review it.
First off... really? Space? Why would three underage children be selected to go into space? It takes years upon years of training to even step foot in a rocket, and even then, it takes millions of dollars to send the rocket into space. It's very unlikely that some NASA rip off would even consiter doing this just so three children with a stupid webshow could do the first webcast in space. (Which, by the way, is complete bull, because astronauts have had cameras to send pictures and transmisions back down to earth. Did the writers do any research?)
Yeah, I'm sorry, That was just really making me mad.
Okay, I like iCarly, but this was one of the worst episodes I've seen. We were made to believe that Carly, Sam, and Freddie would go into space, but they didn't. The whole episode was about the three of them being stuck in a space pod, trying to survive each other until Carly suddenly goes crazy and breaks out. That didn't even make me laugh. The only thought that came to my mind was, "Whose idea was this?" The subplot with the little girl was also really weird, and it was never even explained. Also, unlike iThink They Kissed, this episode had no redeeming humor. Yes, I remember chuckling a couple times while I watched this, but I can't remember why specifically, so that means it really wasn't worth it. Overall, I don't know if I would say it was the worst of the series, but it was definitely one of the worst. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Marebear2009, out!
A lot of people are really hating on this episode on the tv.com community. While it certainly was not up to the show's usual standards, I laughed a couple of times. The storyline with Spencer and the little girl, while childish, was mildly amusing, and a good filler of time.
The space storyline was pretty lame though. I liked Michael Bunin from the underrated My Boys show appearing here, but as a Richard Branson rip-off? He looks nothing like him and I do not even think most kids know who that is. And the fighting and eating in the 36 hour space? Lame.
Another good episode of 'iCarly." This episode takes them to space, but first they must pass a series of test. That's the difficult part. A billionaire asked Carly, Sam and Freddie if they want to have their web show telecast in space. So they accepts and must go though a series of test. first, they have a rival web show to ndeal with and the must stay put in a small craft for 36 hours. Easy as pie? Would you know! In the secondary story, Jery Trainer gets a visit from a little girl. That story works as well as the main story. A fairly good episode!
ispace out is one of the funniest episodes. based on the other reviews, most people dont like this one but it's my favorite episode. a billionaire asks icarly to do icarly from space, but they have to compete against another webshow about exercise. this episode had an interesting plot and sam was really funny throughout the episode. the part with spencer and the little girl was great too, and i didnt expect the ending to be what it was. so overall, a good good good good good good good episode with well written and very funny plots. good job icarly.
At first I thought this was going to be stupid and horrible, so I never watched. One day, I was bored and just watched it and it was really, really good! I loved the whole "Space Madness" theme. The little girl bothering Spencer was kinda funny, kinda annoying, but it didn't decrease the episode one bit. The part where Sam was sneaking chicken and sweet corn down her throat! The ending parts were the funniest. I think the part where Carly freaked out was hilarious I always lol at it. The very end with Carly meeting the girl and the girl walking out and Carly saying "Space Madness" and going to her room was funny! Awesome Episode!!!
What I liked: Spencer's plot, including the ending of the episode in which we are led to believe that girl may have existed, Carly freaking out in the pod, Sam sneaking food in, the billionaire had some funny lines.
Good episode. I really liked the ending and wish that girl would return, because it was kind of cool to have a weird plot like that. I'm kind of mad because nick ruined the ending of the main plot by showing Carly freaking out, but it was still a decent episode. B+/A- as my final grade
I thought that this was a good episode of "iCarly". It would have actually been excellent but there was one major problem and one mild problem that I had with this special. Well, first of all, when I saw the promos... I already knew that the iCarly gang were not going to space because it was just basically Carly, Sam, and Freddie being locked in the space room. So, I already knew that before this special even aired because even though Nickelodeon is one of my favorite channels, I know that they over-hype the promos and ruin most of the specials. Anyways, Spencer's plot when the little girl came in the house all of a sudden was weird and not my favorite but it was a little good. The part that made me laugh the hardest in this episode when the iCarly gang was on those space machines or whatever. I also loved the wind blowing Carly's face, that was just hilarious. Sorry, if I'm not a good explainer but most of you know what I'm talking about (at least I hope you know). Nothing else made me laugh after that. The one major problem that I had with this episode was Sam. Oh my gosh, I wanted to hit Sam so much and she was really getting on my nerves and she was abusing Freddie way too much. Sam says that she wants some nuts to eat and when Freddie gives her a bag of nuts, Sam smacks cross the face with that bag of nuts. Are you serious Sam? you should be thankful that Freddie gave you nuts. I also hated when Sam did that stupid voice "Why are you so stupid?" to Freddie. Shut up Sam, you're the real stupid person so stop talking. There were more things that stupid Sam did to Freddie that got on my nerves. The mild problem I had with this episode was Carly freaking out and breaking out of the room which ruined their chance to go to the space... that part just made me say to myself "WTH?". Overall, just a decent episode of "iCarly" but it would have been excellent if it weren't for those two problems. 7/10
I cannot believe I was talked into watching this. This is a special? It's not even special at ALL!First,The crew was suppost to go into space. But instead, they ended up as a test throughout the whole episode. What liars and I wasn't this a regular episode. It's not as special as I Look Alike, but that episode was okay and this was horrible.Second,What the heck was the girl?I thought it was a prank from Chuck, but it was unknown.Third,This should've been a movie and show them into space, but dumb Carly had to ruin everything and made them not go into space. And fourth,I HATED the ending! It was just the girl walking out and Carly was like "Space madness".Come on!It wasn't funny, not epic and they could've improved the ending, like if The Excersice gang should've got scared into space or something more funnier and less stupid. But this episode is less funny and more stupider.I hope they don't show this episode more.Next review:Big Time Rush, for sure.
Ok, so judging by all the commercials n' such, the icarly crew goes into space. WRONG. This is why I don't like icarly's promos. You see, they don't get into space like everyone in the world expected, instead, they poop themselves in testing and chicken out from it. I was really disapointed, and really, this episode was ok in general, but seriously, Specer's entire thing with the little girl made no sense whatsoever. The icarly guys end up going back, *que cheesy-arse ending* and they end it. BAD-UMP-BUMP. Concentrated facepalm displayed on a television screen. This episode is not very bad, but not very good, either.
This episode just felt boring. I really didn't like it. It was funny at some parts, but overall, it was dull to sit through. I admit I did like parts with the little girl. She was cute and all and it was funny how she kept disappearing and reappearing, but even that doesn't make sense (why would a child stay with someone she doesn't know in the first place). The plot about the iCarly gang being tested to go into outer space. I really had trouble keeping up with that. This really isn't one of iCarly's best episodes. It might not be the worst, but it's far from the best.
