The Dingo channel has apparently been stealing ideas from iCarly, so Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Spencer go to the Dingo studio to give the writers a piece of their mind.
  • Another great season 2 episode.

Watch out for Sams' butter sock! iTake On Dingo is a fully reconizable funny and charming entry in the series.
  • Unbelievable. My six year old daughter watched Nickelodeon at grandma's. Tonight she is scared because and I quote, "I keep thinking about people getting their heads cut off."

Unbelievable. My six year old daughter watched Nickelodeon at grandma's. Tonight she is scared because and I quote, "I keep thinking about people getting their heads cut off." After talking to her I find out it is because she watched iCarly. Needless to say, anyone lets their kids watch Nickelodeon deserves the society we have and the children we are turning out. Shame on anyone who allows Nickelodeon to be watched by children!

  • This episode was actually pretty good and funny (for the most part). Although, it does have its moments of being flawed.

I thought that this was a great episode of "iCarly". When I saw the promo of this episode about a couple of years ago, it didn't interest me at all but I decided to give it a chance anyways. After all, you want to give something a chance before you judge it. I must admit that this episode is actually pretty good. Although, like almost all of the "iCarly" episodes, it does have its moments of being flawed. Not too much flaws in this episode though. I would say it has 2 flaws and this episode is pretty good so it's an episode I can watch again whenever I need some good laughs. Maybe not the funniest episode I've ever seen but it's FAR from being a horrible episode (to be honest). Although, I do quite understand why some people don't like this episode but I like this episode so it's not a problem to me. One of the flaws I did have with this episode was that the Dingo people who stole ideas from "iCarly" were getting a little irritating and kinda get me angry. Also, they just had to put in a hobo joke in this episode. Come on, I bet the hobos that watch some of the "iCarly" episodes get offended. Then again, hobos wouldn't have television but still... Dan needs to think about the people's feelings in this episode. I think those the only flaws that this episode had. After all, I did say this episode only had two flaws. Despite a couple of flaws, there were some very funny parts. Sam repeatedly smacking the Dingo people with the butter sock is hilarious and probably the funniest part out of the entire episode. Even though it's an insult to the hobos, I found it a little funny when Carly is getting the hobo out of the bathtub. Spencer and Freddie also getting the frozen head of "Charles Dingo" is very funny. Also, their hotel turning out to be very crappy just had to make me laugh. Those two Dingo dudes throwing dog food at each other while in a bikini LIVE on iCarly as part of their revenge for stealing the iCarly crew's ideas was very funny and an excellent way to end this great episode. Overall, this was a great episode of "iCarly" and while it's not the funniest episode I've seen... it's FAR from being a terrible episode in my opinion. 8/10moreless

What I liked: Freddie and Spencer finding the head of Charles Dingo, and then it being used as blackmail later on, the butter sock, the ending with Carly and Sam making the two guys be on their show, etc.

Good episode. It was kind of low on humor but I felt both plots worked pretty well, even if one is bizarre (it's based on the myth that Walt Disney's head is frozen). C+/B- as my final grademoreless
  • Adult content.

    "Bad"
I'll preface this review by saying that I do not watch this show, and caught it while channel surfing.

This show, being on Nickelodeon, is obviously aimed at teenagers. So, you might understand my dismay at having seen a young woman, despondent over something having to do with her wedding dress, or lack thereof, and walking upstairs to her room (presumably), and then being followed by her "friend" who brings a bottle of liquor to calm down the girl.

I drink. I see nothing wrong with adults drinking responsibly. But, to do so on a show on a TV station best known for kiddie fare, such as "Rugrats" and "Spongebob Squarepants", it is reprehensible that the producers, directors, and writers, much less the actors, would stoop to this purposely shocking bit. The fact that they just as easily have substituted ice cream or chocolates for the liquor, banal as that is, shows that they purposely went for the shock value.

    Shame on the show!moreless

    • When Carly, Freddie, and Sam are discussing what to do about Dingo Studios, specifically the writers of their TV show 'Totally Terry', ripping off iCarly, Sam suggests confronting them, and Freddie states that Dingo Studios is in Hollywood, to which Carly replies, 'Which is, like, 900 miles from here.' In actuality, a non-stop trip, in a car, from Seattle, Washington to Hollywood, California is approximately 1,129 miles, and would take 17 hours and 29 minutes.

    ADD QUOTES
    • Sam: Those dingo people are dead! Carly: What are we going to do? Sam: We're gonna find them and kick them in their dingoes!

    • Sam: Let's shake 'em up. Carly: Woah, woah, woah, what is that? Sam: A sock full of butter. Carly: We're not just going to go in there and start hitting people with a big buttery sock! Sam: Fine, but if they deny stealing ideas from iCarly, I'm gonna get swingy with this thing! Carly: Not unless I say it's okay. (Later) Sam: May I get swingy? Carly: Yes. (Sam hits one of the Dingo guys with her butter-filled sock)

    • Hollywood Hobo: (about the frozen head of Charles Dingo) I heard the head is somewhere deep in the bowels of the main Dingo building. Freddie: The bowels? Spencer: See! I said it was in the bowels too! Carly: Alright, next person who says "bowels" sleeps in the bathtub! Hollywood Hobo: Bowels, I got the bathtub! (climbs into the window as Carly closes the blinds)
