I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry is a 1994 short television film from New Zealand starring Norman Forsey as the inspector, Stuart Hoar as the conductor Brent McPherson as Hank. Jane, played by Jennifer Ward-Lealand, and Bill, played by Mark Wright, decide to go their separate ways. On their own, they each meet some very unusual strangers. The screenplay for I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry was written by Stuart Hoar and Michael Hurst, who also directed the film.
