  • I have no idea what "Jumps the Shark" means, but I hope it's good 'cuz this was.

This episode includes the ending to the match with team white snow. Takashi, Liz, and Amy learn that Max was the leader of White snow. Not too much of a shock. Anyway, max and the rest of that team promised not to cheat in anymore matches. A little later into the episode Takeshi has flashbacks about Liz. (That was kinda sappy.) Anyway, he calls her up and stuff, and asks her on a date. She thinks about it for a second. Then the moment you've all have been waiting for comes up. (Maybe not all of you.) Liz and Takeshi kiss. ( I thought it kinda ruined the show, but I'm still gonna watch!) can't wait for the next season! ^.^moreless
  • Wow. Never mind the race but did I see what I think I saw with Liz and Takashi? I want a season 3....

Team Satomi was getting pinned down by Team White Snow. After coming with a plan, Takashi and the gang came back to beat the huge Mech and win the race. After the race, Max revealed that she was the mastermind of Team White Snow and is a huge fan of Team Satomi. After that, Takashi finsh the puzzle yet again to find out that it was a gift from Liz. The next day Takashi asked Liz out. Liz reponseded by kissing Takashi (yes you read it right) The next season started with Team Satomi and Team Velshtein. Great ending.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Amy's representative form(an image of a mech pilot substituted for their mech for dramatic effect at a pivotal point in a race, mostly seen before with Takeshi vs a rival) has cat ears and a tail.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Takeshi: If there's one thing I've learned over the past two years, it's that when we when we work together, we can do anything!
Liz: That's the cheesiest thing you've ever said!

    • Takeshi: This is gonna be a tough one. Are you guys ready for this?
      Liz: Oh, yeah!
      Amy & Luca: Same here!
Liz: After being gone for so long, I can't wait to get back into action.
Luca: Just don't get carried away.
Liz: You know, it's great that we can hear Luca now and everything, but does he really have to be so damn opinionated all the time? Sorry, Amy.
Amy: Oh, you'll get used to it.
Luca: Sometimes I think it's easier when humans can't understand me.

    • Miss Satomi: Johnny, while you're in training, I want you to stay focused.
Johnny: Um, right. I'll do the best I can.
Jesse: You should try to relax a little bit.
Andrei: Kid, a good pilot knows when to hang loose.
Miss Satomi: Maybe, but he also knows when to keep his mouth shut.
      Mark: She's got a point.

    • Liz: All right, that's enough. You can let go of my hand now.
Takeshi: I hate to tell you this, Liz, but I am never gonna let go of you, baby.

    • Liz: Well, I'm here. So you gonna tell me what this is all about?
Takeshi: Sorry. I didn't mean to impose on you or anything.
Liz: Whatever, man. I'm here, right? So you gonna tell me what you want?
      Takeshi: Um...
Liz: You must have really screwed-up if you're this tongue-tied.
Takeshi: No! It's nothing like that.
Liz: (walks up to Takeshi) Well, if you got something to say, then just spit it out already, ya big wuss!
Takeshi: I... I wanted to know if you'd go out with me! I'm trying to ask you out on a date, Liz!
Liz: I'm thinking! I heard what you said. I'm not deaf. Confucius said, "It's shameful for a person's actions not to match their words."
      Takeshi: Does that mean yes?
      (Liz kisses Takeshi)
      Liz: No, that means "yes."
Takeshi: (jumps in the air) Whoo-hoo!

    • Cunningham: (shakes Takeshi's hand) Congratulations, you guys. That was quite possibly the best race I've ever seen. I was totally blown away just watching it, man. You three have gotten so good it's incredible. I don't know how we're gonna beat ya, but I can't wait to try. I can't remember the last time I was this psyched for the next season. It's gonna be sick. I can feel it. See you guys next year! (leaves)
Liz: He really needs to get himself a hobby, doesn't he?
      (Takeshi & Amy agree)

    • Takeshi: You know, as long as I live, I'll never understand girls.
Liz: That's 'cause you're an idiot!
