  • The ending made me throw my shoe at my tv...

The best episode I have seen yet is just short of being awesome. If the off-the-track scenes were a little more intriguing it would have been a 9 for sure! It was nice to see Amys charecter get some attention though. However, the ending where Takashi moves foward and gets ready to fight, you feel chills go down your spine, then it ends! It does the whole To Be Continued thing and it made me want to scream with anticipation and rage! GRAH! Well, I guess one thing is for sure, I deffinitly cant wait for the next episode!

  • Takeshi meets league Cunningham and Amy is depressed.

It was good to see Amy get some development as a character. I'm surprised she isn't in the midst of a depression with her parents never being there. Also Team Velshtein seems to be very militaristic and rigid. Their team leader proabably conditioned them to be like that. I wonder how the trap is going to play out. Did they slow down so they would catch Team Satomi by surprise or did they hope that Takeshi would move in so they could take him out. What happens next week should prove interesting.moreless

    • Takeshi: Guys, if we win today, I'm buying both of you dinner. Somewhere nice.
Liz: You think we're going to win?

    • Mitsuko Satomi: Here we go.
Andrei: Honestly, I'd be very surprised if we could take Team Velshtein. Of course, I never thought we'd make it to the IG-1, either.
Mitsuko Satomi: Thanks, Andrei, your optimism is overwhelming.

    • Takeshi: (about Amy) I don't know. I didn't notice anything different.
Liz: You don't notice anything that's not on the track, idiot.

    • Mark: Amy! Your timing's off. You need to concentrate.
Luca: I wish he could understand what I was saying.
Amy: I have a feeling if everyone could understand you, they'd kick us off the team.
Luca: Hey, what's that supposed to mean?

    • Luca: Hey, Amy, isn't today your -
Amy: Come on, Luca. I don't want to talk about it.
Luca: I wonder if everyone just forgot.
      Amy: Probably.
Luca: I wish I could buy you something, but for some strange reason, they don't let cats use credit cards.
      Amy: Yeah, I know.
Luca: Uh, that was supposed to be a joke.
      Amy: Yeah, I know.
