  • This is currently my favorite TV Drama.

I just love the Conti character (& the actor that portrays him). I also like Kyle MacLachlan in this show (much better than his Sex and the City character). Kyle has come a ways since his Twin Peaks' days. This show makes me wonder how many innocent people are in jail. I would hate to have it happen to me - it would make you want to yell in frustration to anyone that would listen. So far, the stories have been very interesting and I love the supporting cast. I hope more people discover this show and it becomes a bigger hit.moreless
  • Will Swain really be disbarred?

    9.1
If Swain gets disbarred, that would be pretty harsh. He definitely deserves it, but that would suck if it happened. As the episode was progressing, I lost a lot of respect for him for letting that girl say she was guilty when she really wasn't. So I'm glad he had a conscience at the end. The couple was sooooo cute; they almost had me in tears... ALMOST. lol. All in all, one of the best episodes.moreless

I liked the fact that this episode started a little differently than previous ones. Instead of the customary "what the jury believed" beginning, the story starts with a tape being dropped off and the mystery begins there. Swain's character was further developed as we saw him bend the law to help out one client, then fall on his sword in court to help out another, despite the ominous presence of Rocca lying in wait for just the type of misstep Swain committed. This series continues to get credit for not showing its hand too early and keeping the audience guessing as to how the story will resolve itself. I would have given higher marks if not for the improbable manner in which the acronyn A.N.A. suddenly came to Swain.moreless
  • We see a little more of Swain.

    8.5
This wasn't my favorite episode of the series but it was definitely above average, I don't understand why the rating is so low. I wish others would write a review as to why they didn't like it, I'm curious. This episode was well acted and well written. I loved how Swain was trying to figure out love. It showed a more tender side of Swain, when he let Neena confess so that she could at least see her love again, even though he should have listened to Charlie. It showed how much he cared and when in the end he took the blame so Neena could also get released and reunited with Jake. I can't wait to see what they do with Swain and his hearing, I hope they just don't sweep it under the rug and not deal with it. Again the scenes with Conti and Swain are classic.moreless
