We have a couple of issues here in this episode. We have Marshall upset with Mary. We have an impostor playing another man who needs a new identity. Finally we have a kidnapping.
Mary told Raphael what she does for a living. Therefore Raphael knows what Marshall does for a living. Marshall thinks this is a broken trust between him and Mary as she never revealed to him she was going to tell Raphael before she did. I like what she said at the end about trusting Raphael more than the criminals and other scum they usually have to deal with and they reveal who they are to all the time.
No wonder Phillip was willing to give the money away. It wasn't his in the first place. The guilt must have been enormous. You have to think though, what would you do under the circumstances in his place? Like Marshall said, he did increase the value of the estate and ended up being a good executor. You could tell by his wife's attitude in general that she did not marry him for his money so I think there might be a short adjustment but in the end I don't think it would have driven them apart.
Boy Randy Murray must be a really great person! After finding out his brother is alive instead of being happy he blackmails him. I understand why Roy never contacted him before but at the same time once they were aware of each other I'm sure Roy would have been happy to give him some funds. Instead after Roy/Phillip crazily gives all the money away Randy kidnaps his wife.
So hopefully they catch Randy and then Phillip and Camille can have their five million back and hopefully be happy together.
This show is getting pretty good now on a regular basis. Very few poor episodes like earlier in the season. Summer finale comes next week I guess? Thanks for reading...moreless
