A classic episode. The recreation of the events that led D.B. Cooper to hijack a Boeing 727 on Thanksgiving Eve in the 70's is one of the most famous crime cases there is particulary for the fact that there is much speculation about Cooper's fate.

Is he alive or dead? Nobody knows. There is almost no evidence pointing to his death but Nimoy and the show do a great job of retracing this guy's background and what might have happened.

I personally believe he is alive because otherwise his remains would have been found unless his partner in crime hid the body. I also believe that D.B. Cooper did not act alone. I believe he had at least one accomplice. The crime itself seems a bit of his league even though it's rumored that Cooper was a former military man.

This episode is concise although there are a few areas that could have used more attention like specifically Cooper's bomb as possibly being bogus. It's taken at value that it's a real bomb but I don't believe it was. I doubt Cooper wanted to kill himself for a mere $200,000.

Still a classic episode it's always interesting how they form hypothesis and get inside the heads of these criminals.moreless
