    An Astronomical oddity of a BINARY SUN (DOUBLE SUN), this fact has also been used as the basis for some unusual science fiction stories. Although Binary Suns are factual, but we wonder what effect would such a sun have on a PLANET in its system? One science-fiction story I read gave an interesting speculation, that depending on which of the Two suns is in PROMINENCE at any given time that the planet's inhabitants would change their behavior from peaceful to warlike, and vice versa. In other words, Jekyll and Hyde on a world-wide scale! As I said, depending on which of the 2 suns happens to be in Prominence at that time in the orbit. Question is, is it due to the shifting gravitational effect or due to the shifting ultra-violet rays?moreless
