I've classified this as a "Flashback episode," and what I'm referring to is not the flashback scenes of the dying miner sketching the location of the gold mine, but my own recall of this episode. You see, although I watched this show frequently as a child, this is the only episode I specifically remember. As a result, it's become a favorite of mine, although I'm just as limited as you in seeing it. The History Channel no longer holds the rights to screen the episodes, and will not renew the contract. The series may be purchased in VHS format, but the cost is well into the thousands of dollars. We need to hope for a DVD release at some point, with the Nimoy on-screen appearances and original music intact!moreless
