Toshi Reagon has been a force of nature on the music scene for years. In this month’s Real To Reel, In the Life features excerpts from the documentary "Paternal Instinct" that reveal the extraordinary and unpredictable journey of a gay couple and a surrogate mother in their quest to have a child. For filmmaker Murray Nossel, it also became a seven-year journey of self-discovery.moreless
