Paul is exhausted by his work and seeks out a new therapist of his own to whom he can unload. His hope is to get a new prescription for sleeping pills. This is when he meets Adele Brousse, who is young, clever, and unwilling to give him an easy out. She brings conversation out of him about his broken marriage, his career, and his own health.moreless

Usually I did not like the episodes where Paul is the patient last year, a few were good, but the majority of them were the same old same old. I am not an Amy Ryan fan either, her turn on The Office was terrible, but she got the job done here as a stone cold therapist. She played well off Paul and it always amazes me how Paul falls into the same traps during his therapy sessions as his patients do when they are talking to him.

Best episode of the week for sure, but this show is still disappointing me big time.moreless
