This was the one character I was particularly looking forward to, and it certainly delivered. Walter, a brash CEO, played by John Mahoney of Frasier fame, with some skeletons in his closet, an overwhelming need to always be right and being overprotective of his daughter.

The story was great down to the little details of Walter wanting to protect his cashmere coat. The slightly extended run time flew by and this was without question the most enjoyable episode of the season yet. What I liked was how I am not sure how things are going to play out as opposed to the first three sessions where the ending can at least be predicted.

    • Walter: That's the trouble with having nice things. You have to worry about them.

    • Walter: You should feel honored. I have people working for me who've spent years trying to earn my trust. Paul: I imagine your position requires you to be very well-guarded. Walter: You're getting that from all those articles you didn't read.

    • Paul: Who was your psychopharmacologist? Walter: Are you kidding? That's all I need now. The headline, 'Embattled C.E.O. under psychiatric care.'

    • Paul: Walter, every patient's therapy is different. It doesn't... Walter: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're all unique snowflakes.

    • (talking about Walter's daughter Natalie) Walter: She was in a rush, premature, walked early, talked early. So bright, so happy. She came a great distance to... give us all something to believe in. Paul: You sound incredibly proud of her. Walter: I am.

    • Paul: It's not an easy thing, developing self-awareness. Some people say that it's... a man's entire life's work. Walter: That sounds pretty self-absorbed. No offense. I was talking about your patients, understand, not you.

    • Walter: There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

    • Paul: 'Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.' Paul was quoting Shakespeare's words in Act III, Scene I, Line 33 of King Henry IV Part II. The line stresses the responsibilities and burdens which come with being a leader.
