Mako and Sayuki are practicing some mountain runs when they are informed by the Night Kids, Shingo and Nakazato of the upcoming threat by the Emperor team. Mako is still trying to get over being dumped by Iketani. But then the Emperors arrive to scout Mt. Usui.
