Show Summary

Inside Danny Baker was a 1963 half-hour comedy pilot produced for ABC that never aired. The show followed the adventures of teen Danny Baker (Roger Mobley) as he tries to earn money to buy a fishing boat with a variety of schemes, including selling the family ping-pong table as modern art. The show included a cameo appearance by Whitey Ford, pitcher for the New York Yankees. The story was written by Mel Brooks, the writer/director of "Young Frankenstein" and "The Producers."
