AIRED:
Merry Christmas from Inside the NFL. Week 16, and the 1980 NFL Regular Season are now officially over. Even though the Eagles loss to the Cowboys tied the two teams up at 12-4, the Eagles are NFC East Champions because they had a better point differential within the division than Dallas did. Other teams that are in the playoffs for the NFC include the Minnesota Vikings, the Atlanta Falcons (both division winners) and the Los Angeles Rams. In the AFC, the division winners are the Buffalo Bills, the Cleveland Browns, and the San Diego Chargers. The Wild Card teams are the Oakland Raiders and the Houston Oilers. Next week is the Wild Card Round, and it would mark the start for the road to Super Bowl XV. Len and Nick discuss the playoff picture and determine which teams will make it to the Super Bowl, and if any upsets are in the picture for this postseason.moreless
