AIRED:
The Divisional round is over, and both AFC games went to form, with the #2 seeded Browns knocking off the Colts 38-21, and the Broncos defeating the Oilers 34-10. It was a different story in the NFC, as the Vikings shocked the football world again after defeating the heavily favored 49ers 36-24 thanks to a 227 yard receiving day by Anthony Carter. Also, the Redskins came out and won against the Bears on the road 21-17 after the Bears offense made one too many mistakes costing them a chance to get to the NFC title game. The conference championships next week are the Vikings @ Redskins, and a rematch of last year's AFC title game, but in the other venue, the Browns @ Broncos. Len and Nick make their predictions for the conference title games, and then look back at the teams that didn't make the playoffs and discuss some offseason issues facing some teams as they go into the 1988 season.moreless
