AIRED:
The Conference Championships have concluded, and the Redskins won a defensive battle over the surprise team of the season, the Vikings 17-10, putting Washington in their 4th Super Bowl appearance in team history. The AFC title game was just as exciting as the sports world made it to be, as the Denver Broncos defeated the Cleveland Browns for the second year in a row 38-33, putting the Broncos in their second straight Super Bowl, and 3rd in franchise history. Most of that was thanks to an Earnest Byner fumble in the end zone, which would later be dubbed "The Fumble" by NFL Films. Super Bowl XXII will feature the Washington Redskins and the Denver Broncos in two weeks from San Diego, California.moreless
