Episode Summary

November 30, 1988
Week 13 has concluded, and the Bengals win their 10th game of the season as they improve to 10-3 after beating the Bills 35-21, as they continue their quest for the #1 seed in the AFC, with Denver and Buffalo the closest competition. In the NFC, the Bears quest for another NFC Central title is now one game closer after shutting out the Packers 16-0, but Minnesota is also in contention of the division title after defeating the Lions 23-0. There are 3 weeks left until the end of the regular season, and there are still plenty of division races that need winning. Right now the 49ers are the only team to mathematically win their division, but other teams like the Bengals and Bears are close, and could clinch division titles next week. Len and Nick look at some of the other division races and determines who will be the frontrunners for those races, and then looks at which division winner has the best chance to knock off the potential #1 seeds in the playoffs.moreless
