Episode Summary

November 5, 1986
Week 9 is now over, and the Giants and Jets continue to roll as New York defeated the Cowboys 17-14, and the other New York defeated the Seahawks on the road 38-7. Denver goes to 8-1 as well after defeating the Raiders 21-10, while Washington still kept pace with the Giants after surviving a 490 yard passing day by Tommy Kramer of the Vikings by winning 44-38. With the second half of the season now underway, Len and Nick look at the league and see as we turn our attention to November which teams need to start winning in order for them to have a chance in making the playoffs. Also, they talk about the other divisions that are not getting as much attention this season, like the NFC West and the AFC Central. The NFC West is a battle between the 49ers and the Rams, while the AFC Central looks to be comfortably controlled by the Browns, but other teams in the division like Cincinnati and Pittsburgh are trying to knock Cleveland off the top.moreless
