Episode Summary

October 4, 1989
Week 4 has concluded, and the Bears and Giants are now 4-0. Chicago defeated Philadelphia 27-13 on Monday Night despite a 400 yard passing day for Eagles QB Randall Cunningham. The 49ers suffered their first loss of the season at home to the division rival Rams 13-12 where offense was pretty hard to come by. Rams WR Flipper Anderson dominated the game with 112 receiving yards and a touchdown. In the AFC, Denver is handed their first defeat after losing to the Browns 16-13 in Cleveland. With a quarter of the season now completed, Len and Nick look at the teams that are hot, and the teams that are not. Both give predictions as to which hot teams will stay hot, which hot teams will cool off, and which cold teams will get hot and still make the postseason by the end of the season.moreless
