    It's amazing that, with all the times he had to deal with the message item blowing up in his face, he didn't think to get himself a Kevlar suit...

    Lol I'm sure he thought of it but no matter what he did or where he was, Gadget always managed to make the message blow up in his face. I think he was wearing one of those welders' masks once and Gadget still did it. Poor Chief
