It seems that this episode really has no point. The choice of a circus as the setting had to have been made only for the purpose of having plot devices and visual gags, of which there are plenty: Gadget in a trapeze act, Gadget as a lion tamer, and Gadget as a clown. Gadget assumes all of these identities in order to infiltrate the circus and find the MAD agents, but he never suspects that two of the agents are actually the ringmaster and a little clown who is always trying to do him harm. Dr. Claw has no evil scheme in this episode. He is simply being hounded by Gadget and the Metro City Police. Why would Dr. Claw choose a circus as a coverup for any MAD operation? No point to this episode at all.moreless
