Dr. Claw: (after being captured) This is not goodbye. I'll get you next time, Gadget! I'll get you!
Dr. Claw: Brenda, Brenda, Brenda. I love you when you call me Claw. So what's the story?
Brenda: Hello! You killed my father!
RoboGadget: Hey, why did you do that? We shouldn't be fighting. We have a lot in common. I have nice teeth. We should be working together, be partners. Together, you and I will rule the world.
Inspector Gadget: You should have quit while you're a head.
(Inspector Gadget tosses RoboGadget's head into the river)
Dr. Claw: Good morning, RoboGadget. You were animated by the complex computer technology in the world. What are you going to do now?
RoboGadget: I'm gonna kick some butt.
Dr. Claw: Greetings, inspector. Glad you could drop in.
Inspector Gadget: I owe you one, Scolex. You blew me up and my car. I really liked that car.
Dr. Claw: Well, you crushed my hand and I really liked that hand. So Go-Go get over it.
Inspector Gadget: I know what you're up to, Scolex, but you'll never get away with this.
Dr. Claw: How cliche, inspector. I think someone's been watching too many Saturday morning cartoons.
Sanford Scolex: I deserve a dashing appellatian.
Dr. Kramer: "A dashing appellatian", what is that, a hillbilly with a tuxedo?
Sanford Scolex: No, you idiot! It's a nickname... one that will send my enemies cowering in fear. Too bad Hook is taken, eh?
Sykes: How about Captain Claw?
Sanford Scolex: No, no, no.
Dr. Kramer: Or Santa Claw?
Sanford Scolex: Just Claw. One word like Madonna.
John Brown: Driver of the black limo attached to the Yahoo! billboard, this is security officer John Brown. Please step out of the vehicle immediately or else.
Sanford Scolex: Fine work, Mr. Security Guard. You got me. Here, have a victory cigar.
John Brown: No thanks.
(Sanford Scolex lights the cigar)
Sanford Scolex: Remember, smoking kills!
John Brown: I don't smoke.
Sanford Scolex: Oh, really? You will now.
(The cigar explodes on John Brown and his car)
Gadget isn't so scatter-brained like his cartoon counterpart. Also, he's very focused.
This also shows a possible origin of Dr. Claw and how he got his name.
This show a possible origin of Inspector Gadget's origin.
This film is very similiar in plot to the 1987 movie RoboCop, both films feature and cop getting badly injured and brought back with robot technology.
Doctor Claw: Goodbye, Mr. Chips
In the Bond films, everything the bad guys think they have finished off 007 once and for all they say the line "Goodbye, Mr. Bond."
Claw: Et tu, Sikes?
Claw is paraphrasing one of the most famous lines in history, "et tu, brute?" which means "You too, Brutus?" which were the words spoken by Julius Caesar when he realized one of the assassins about to kill him was his best friend Brutus.
