  • Set in Scotland, the episode features Gadget trying to save the world's leading scientist from Dr. Claw's mechanical lake monster.

    "Good"
This episode is definitely better than the first as far as having a more strong and steady storyline. The regular Inspector Gadget story formula is used. As with the pilot episode, this episode does not take place in Metro City. Dr. Claw's reasons for kidnapping the scientist and for possessing a mechanical lake monster are not explained. There are several funny moments, as when Gadget gets his car stuck in a field of sheep and he complains about the size of the roads. The final scene with Gadget, Penny, and Brain standing by a lake at sunset is quite visually beautiful.
