This episode was a little boring. A racetrack, at least to me, isn't that exciting of a setting. There were two funny moments. The first is when Gadget is signing up for the race. He tells the man at the window that he has his own pen. Apparently, the Gadgetpen is in his middle finger, so for a few seconds he is shooting the bird. The second funny moment is when a MAD agent gives Gadget an alcoholic beverage to drink. Gadget winds up on the track saying he can do donuts and hee-hawing like a donkey before passing out.
For the moral moment at the end, Gadget says one shouldn't drink "strange drinks" before driving. Why didn't he just say an "alcoholic beverage." That really doesn't apply to the target audience, so I guess the writers figured referencing alcohol directly wasn't a good idea.
