Although there were a few interesting moments in this episode, the story was very disjunct. Scenes were not very well connected.
Gadget spends most of the episode wandering around the pyramid looking for a snack machine. He confuses Brain, dressed as a mummy, for a MAD agent. Penny discovers a secret passageway and she locks in the coordinates with her computerbook to help her find the way out. She never uses the information, and it seems like she doesn't need to. It's a peculiar moment that seems like it doesn't belong in the story. This is not the first time that Penny has discovered a secret passageway, but nothing is made of it later in the story. It also happened in the Transylvania episode.
Lots of screentime was given to the MAD agents. They bicker back and forth, talk to Dr. Claw, try to get Gadget, and run away from Brain.
The nomad MAD agent, who appears near the beginning of the episode, only appears once. I was expecting him to appear later on, because he seemed like one of those "boss" MAD agents that are unique to an episode. He rides an interesting camel with a cannon in its hump.
Altogether, the setting of the spooky pyramid was interesting, but the episode fails due to lack of a seamless storyline.
