  • Going downhill fast.

    3.5
This show's going downhill fast, trouble is, it wasn't that far up the hill to begin with.
  • Not as good as the first two, but still very interesting.

    9.5
This was kinda like a birdgin episode linking what's happened before to what is yet to come, and that made it kinda average as an episode on its own but it did move the plot in an interesting direction.

It was a little strange that there was no mention of Mei Chen in episode 2, but she certainly reappeared today with a bang!

Overall, good episode - not as good as the first two but still highly enjoyable! I look forward to more!moreless
  • Episode should have been called "The Fix"

    4.0
A boring way to fix the mess that was the previous episode... At least they've done it early. So lets hope we won't hear about that again. Now we will see what the series is really going to be. I agree that Josh's hair urgently needs to be fixed too.

They should get rid of Marg Helgenberger or reduce her screen time. However gorgeous she may be she is not that great of an actress and doesn't have the stance to portray the character she's been given.moreless
  • Middle of road, with some very bumpy detours..

    8.0
Overall - the series so far: My first suggestion is to leave all of your common sense and reality based thinking elsewhere if you want to enjoy the story. There's just too much that we know about computer technology on even a basic level to allow us to fully accept the ideas behind the story. There's an ap for it, an update, a security layer... that we have to ignore.

This episode: Mei Chen Returns - Considering she didn't actually leave prior to this ep it was more like 'Mei Chen Appears". I didn't like the story. I thought it was VERY poorly acted - especially Mei Chen. I just couldn't even suspend my suspension of common sense to think there was any danger for anyone and so it just felt like a bunch of nonsense. I knew they'd shut her down - and if they hadn't it probably would have been enough to make me think about watching the show going forward.. because it would be the battle of the brain chips.

Josh Holloway needs to get his rear bangs fixed. Either grow out your hair, or cut it. I still have hope for this and like Meghan Ory more and more.moreless

    • Riley: So, you think someone's inside your cyber-render with you? But you haven't actually seen anyone?
Gabriel: I just feel it, like someone's there watching me.
Riley: And you have no idea who this watcher is?
Gabriel: You're gonna think I'm crazy.
      Riley: No, I won't.
      Gabriel: I think it's Amelia.
Riley: I take that back. That is crazy. I'm kidding...ish.

    • Gabriel: (referring to Amelia) I know it's crazy, but is it at all possible that I'm actually communicating with her somehow?
Dr. Cassidy: Well, while I would never presume to convince a man in mourning that there is no heaven, this chip does not access other planes of existence.

    • Gabriel: This place is famous for its homemade tequila. Have some.
Riley: Clarendon Penitentiary is famous for its death chamber. Doesn't make me want to try it.
