International King of Sports

Show Summary

What makes a King - his crown? His castle? His genes? What about his sporting skills... Some men are so competitive that it doesn't even matter which sport you challenge them at.

As Helen Chamberlain discovers in this weird new series, you can ask these guys to shot-putt under water and all they're likely to ask is what gear they'll be using, rather than: "Are you taking the mick?" Helen, of course, supports Torquay United, so she knows all about futility.

2002 Finalists: (Heat 1) - Kengo Shiomi (Japan) (Heat 2) - Laszlo Fazekas (Hungary) (Heat 3) - Brian Clarke (Britain) (Heat 4) - Chima Ijeoma (Nigeria) (Heat 5) - Kenji Wantabe (Japan) (Heat 6) - Milek Jivens (America) (Heat 7) - Adam Horder (Australia) (Heat 8) - William Pobie (Britain)

2002 Winner - Adam Horder. The first Australian to take the title. Kengo Shiomi came in 2nd, and William Pobie in 3rd place.
