What basically happens in the movie is that a moth demon from "The Contininent", named Minomaru is reawakened after being sealed for many years. InuYasha and company find out about the demon when Kirara runs into the forest after being possessed by Minomaru's two henchwomen. Sango and Miroku follow Kirara into the forest to find two women stroking Kirara. At that time Miroku asks one of the women to bear his child and Sango of course responds by hurting him in some way(this time she bonked him on the head with her Hiraikotsu) but this entire sentence is beyond the point. The henchwomen revealed their true identities soon after, which eventually lead the group to learning about Minomaru. Eventually Minomaru became very powerful by absorbing his father's powers and bhecame even more powerful by killing people and absorbing their souls. Eventually, Minomaru was killed by a combination of InuYasha's backlash wave and Kagome's sacred arrow. Overall, i found the movie to be very boring and not very funny(unlike the second movie, but once again, that's besides the point). And despite all the events, i found the movie to be, well, uneventful. In other words, i think the movie sucked.
It has its regular inuyasha and kagome moments which you have to love. Also I like how it kind of ties back into the series. How in the series they mention the demons they fought in the movie. Not pretending it didn't happen like other shows. I thought the whole thing was really good and I almost teared up on some spots. Like how Kagome was forced into the well to 'never return' by Kikyo because according to Kikyo Kagome didn't belong there with Inuyasha. *Quite Frankly, she didn't either seeing how she's dead* All in all I give this movie a 10/10!
This movie is about a Moth Demon that kidnaps Kagome and puts something on her head that allows him to control her! He makes Kagome kill Inuyasha with the sacred arrow, Kagome is then released after she kills Inuyasha, but it all ends happily ^_^
I loved this video so much, I am currently watching the inuyasha series, and I am almost done, I have watched 3 of the movies so far, I have one left, which I will watch at the end of the series. Anyways, the first movie of Inuyasha was so heart - warming, I cried! I loved every minute of it, except for the parts where the characters got hurt or something like that, but it was still SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're faces looked different though, but that was alright, at least I got to see the ENGLISH DUBBED instead of having to watch the Japanese version. And I have this video and ALL the inuyasha movies saved on my computer ^_^
I own this on dvd. This movie has a way more theater like quality then other movies like the later dbz movies which feel like episodes. It has two highly attractive henchwomen and menomaru is about the coolest demon Inuyasha has had to face.
This is an epic tale with two highly attractive henchwomen and the greatest threat Inuyasha and his gang have faced, the evil Menomaru the son of Hyoga,an ancient moth demon which Inuyasha's father had defeated and had later stored the moth demon's energy source away in a egg of some sort. Menomaru needs Inuyasha's tetsuiga aka "fang of destruction" to open the seal to allow Menomaru to inherit generations of the Hyoga Clan's power. Eventually Ruri and Hari are defeated by Menomaru, because he has no furthur use for them, and he is destroyed with a combination of Kagome's sacred arrow and Inuyasha's backlash wave.
This feels more like a theatrical uncut anime movie then the later dbz movies have.
I love this movie. It revealed further that Kagome has feelings for Inuyasha( although it is pretty obvious ) and that Kikyo is a heartless *beeeeep* . My friend told me that this movie is just like another episode, but think there is something about it that separates it from other movies and other episodes. Possible Spoilers. There is a part that involves snow, Kagome, Inuyasha, and a large tree that I found very touching. I would have cried if Sota and Grandpa had just closed their yaps. It really doesn't give you enough time to really get into the mood before comic relief kicks in. Their is also a good part with Kilala and Sango, but it only lasts like 2 minutes. I guess I'm more of a funny perverted monk person than a cat person.lol Overall, it's a very good movie with a few sad parts and a great light show at the end, and if your begining to go through Inuyasha comic relief withdrawl, try to make past a few end credits and you'll get a treat.
Affections Touching Across Time is with out a doubt, one of the best anime films ive seen! The movies story line never breaks away from the series. Which ive noticed with american animated films, normally do break that bond.
This movie however, keeps the two main characters intact! Their so called feelings for each other are quiet obvious. I love how this movie plays with their emotions! That love and hate relationship is so fathomless! It keeps you hanging off you seat! This is a very compelling film. Its so addictive, you keep on wanting more! Inuyasha is awsome!
Inuyasha and the others were having an normal usual day. When an strange snake begin to attacked them.Kirra gets really hurt.Somewhere an demon seeks revenge right after his father was sealed away and forefilled what his father had started.Kirra is controled by the two girls. One of the girls stole Miroko(sp?) wind tunnel as well. This is one challenge that Inuyasha and the others has to deal with.Meanwhile Kiyoko sends Kagome back to her world.Telling her that she doesn't belong there and neither does she.
This movie is pretty good.I mean very awsome and very good as well.
Love Which Transcends Time is probably one of the better anime movies out there that doesn\'t affect the main storyline. Taking a break from Naraku\'s evil and slick schemes to plot two people against each other, the movie opens up with the shattering of the Shikon jewel Kagome pierced. One of the pieces of the Jewel had ineffected a tree, transformming it into the demon Menoumaru. Menoumaru\'s and Inuyasha\'s connection is covered within their family line when Inuyasha\'s infamous father sealed away Menoumaru\'s ancestors. That hatred was stored in a tree which Menoumaru wishes to break using a powerful fang. Sesshomaru was apporached first, but deemed much too powerful for them to handle. Inuyasha however, has a weakness in Kagome that Menoumaru uses to his advantage. Though how will Inuyasha fight to his full extent, when a weakness he can easily dipose of, is around?
The TV series is lacking in many areas that the movie improves upon. The fights are obvious. Anyone can tell you, except for the fangirls, that Inuyasha has weak fights and no sense of direction. At least here, some sense of techniques were added to make use of the great material for a great fight scene. I mean, with Sango\'s awesome abilities as a ninja girl, you\'d expect more from her than simply swinging her monstrous boomerang around. We finally get to see the potential Inyuasha fights were missing in the TV anime. Though compared to other series, the fights are still weak. The only people who will be satisfied are those who have watched the TV series, but outside of that fanbase, who will be watching it anyways?
Inuyasha is also a love romance. The story behind what happens to Kagome deep later on is quite touching, but was executed rather poorly, just like in the TV version. There isn\'t enough development in the story to make it tear jerking, which it had potential in being. It wondered me, so much time had passed by, yet neither the story or character departments were progressed nearly as much as they should. If there was 30 more minutes of developing the love scenario, then without a doubt this would have been a fantastic movie. But it doesn\'t seem that way. Still, it\'s a great concept and quite imaginative, but these moments are better left off with people experienced in that field.
What is fantastic though is the animation, music, and presentation. The fights, like explained before, is a huge step up. The animation itself has noticeable improvements. The atmosphere in the TV series seemed to be quite inconsistent, but that\'s not the case with Love Whichs Transcends Time. Although there is one instance where the mood is completely ruined by the petty arguing between Kagome and Inuyasha. Thankfully all the other parts are intact. The music is as great as ever. Although normally an original soundtrack would be accompanied with the movie, not reusing the tunes in the show. However, Inuyasha has by far one of the best soundtracks in anime. So it\'s pretty tough to argue in this area, unless you despise both classical and Japanese music.
You can clearly tell that more effort than usual has been put towards this movie. Anime movies usually have that TV feeling to it that makes it not feel like a movie. Love Which Transcends Time actually has that movie feeling to it, feeling as if it has no affiliations with an anime. This is usually because the company relies on the license to sell. It\'s appreciative that Inuyasha avoids that type of marketing, even though it\'s doing it anyways. Fans of the anime should definitely check this out.
i still think they should have stuck to the original title "love that transcends time", but anyway, this movie is absolutely charming. focusing on inuyasha & kagome, its filled with humor, action, and romance. everything was relevant to the storyline. although some of the drama was what youd expect (i.e. kagome being kidnapped), it was still pretty good. suspenseful, i almost felt like they weren't all gonna get out of this adventure alive! (yeah, i know im corny) anyway, really emo towards the end (grab the tissues ppl). all in all it was awesome. beautiful animation (as usual) and all the actors did an excellent job. i only wish there had been more sesshomaru!
