  • There have been a few annoying episodes. This was the most juvenile by far. In the words of Comic Book Guy, "Worst. Episode. Ever."

First let me say, I'm a huge fan of the show. I love the action, suspense, and even some of the drama. I love the depth of the characters and watching how rounded and dynamic they become as they evolve. However, there are a few really annoying characters and episodes that are clearly trying to rake in the 14 and under audience. I had a difficult time watching this episode and it was one of the few I had a strong urge to skip. In fact, if the more juvenile aspects of the show annoy you (such as Shippo's and Jaken's voices), then this is one episode I would suggest skipping completely. Nothing significant happens at any point. The entire episode is unnecessary filler.

The only slightly redeeming moment is a funny point at the end of a play where Inuyasha used the wind scar in Kagome's school's auditorium. It would have been much funnier if I had been in any mood to laugh by the end of the episode. Honestly, I wanted to throw up.

I suppose the show is built for a younger audience than myself, but I haven't enjoyed this kind of drivel since I was seven years old. This would be my favorite animated series if it weren't for episodes like this one.
  • This episode was hilarious, I dont think I laughed so hard since the 3 monkey episode. Dont miss this one.

This episode was hilarious, I dont think I laughed so hard since the 3 monkey episode. Dont miss this one. Inuyasha ended up comming anyhow and when they were walking in the hall they saw a demon right behind kogame. Inuyasha destroyed the demon and said I have to look for the others, inuyasha went on slaughter the demons. When kogame did the choir concert and the play. The play in which inuyasha blew a hole in the ceiling lol that was hilarious, you got to see it. After that inuyasha said that they got to get back to the feudal era and kogame agreed.
  • This episode was hilarious!

Cultural festival goes on without hitch that is until water falls upon the dried demons. The choir scene was rather funning to watch. But my favorite had to be the play when Inuyasha busted in and accepted Hojo's challenge at face value. The fact that the Inuyasha was able to roam the school grounds without anyone noticing that he had dog-ears was so unreal that it made it hysterical. The sight of him running away from curry was funny.(It burned his tongue! Poor Inuyasha) In terms of plot devolpment there is none to speak of. That is except Naraku talking to the long-eared demon on where the last shard is. It is merely an episode of sheer hilarity and silliness of Inuyasha running around in the present era and Kagome being systematical forced into various events. This is an episode that is so desperately needed after the sorrowful passing of Kikyou, a funny one that we can just laugh at.
  • Most likely one of the most hilarious episodes ever made.

It's crazy, but this was definitely really funny. Especially when Kagome's friends kept pulling her away for another activity and didn't seem to notice Inuyasha at all.

And yeah, it was the first time he ran away from something that I've noticed, heh. He saw spicy food and he ran off, "that food burns my tongue"... I mean, that's hilarious.

The play was also funny when Inuyasha shows up for no apparent reason. Then he takes out his sword and I'm like "oh, my sword's bigger than yours"... the Tetsusaiga was huge compared to Hojo's sword.

Despite the fact Inuyasha stuck out like a sore thumb, he still had a lot of funny scenes and lines. And I like seeing him when things are... awkward... cuz it's definitely outside the norm for him.
  • This is so funny!

Anyways, I\'d say this episode was pretty funny because of the play. Inuyasha busting in because he was jealous and Kagome ended up having to write her own script, hoping that Inuyasha and Hojo follows her lead. Twisted story for this episode, but it was funny as can be.

So overall, this is one of my favourites from Inuyasha. And I have enjoyed it a lot, and I hope you do too.
  • Oh, my gosh! This one had me laughing so hard!!

Inuyasha being in Kagome's time can be funny enough when he encounters all kinds of new things, but this really got me laughing. It was suspenseful, too--especially when Inuyasha did his wind scar in front of everyone!! And when Hojo challenged him...ah, ha! Poor Kagome! I didn't realized dried-up demons could bring about so much trouble!! Anyway, this was a great episode and I look forward to watching it again next time it comes on. Obviously, it wasn't sticking to the whole "Naraku must die. We must get jewel shards," bit, but we need a break from that every once in a while. It is an awesome eppie!
  • The funniest thing in Inuyasha ever!

There was a period of time when i stopped watching it for a while. I always knew and wanted to watch this episode because i heard it was funny. I totally forgot about it, but one day when i decided to watch it again...TADA! it was this ep. now thats ironic! anyways this episode is HILARIOUS!

The scene where kagome, hojo, and inuyasha are on stage is the has to be one of the funniest things in anime! kagome has to try and make up the script when inuyasha decides to join the play--(when hojo and kagome are running to hug eachother in slo-mo with a music and all, inuyasha crashes in between "b*****d who the hell are you!?" and then he seriously challenges hojo to a duel over kagome-omg hilarious!

it was late when i was watching this with my bro--hehehe we probably woke up the whole family cause we were laughing so hard!! :) AWSOME EP!
  • Kagome has her hands full when the Cultural Festival continues and she ends up playing some major parts.

Wow, this episode is more silly than serious. I laughed the most at the play scene when InuYasha pops up and Kagome gives him a silly name to hide his real name from everyone else and InuYasha uses the Winx Scar to destroy the demon right in front of everyone and the whole school thought it was just a really good act. Plus we get to see Naraku in the end! :)
  • In this episode,Kagome has to participate in the school cultural festival and it gets complicated when Inuyasha goes to kill the demons that are at her school. This is one hilarious episode.

I love this episode. I think its super hilarious and an episode to lighten the mood when everything around it is dark loke the death of Kikyiou. Love the part when Inuyasha runs away from the food that burns his tongue LOL. Also when he shows up at the play and wants to fight Houjo althogh he has a plastic sword and Inu has the tetsaiga.
  • i think this episode is the funniest ever expecially the play scene that is my favorite scene in this episode i seriously caution you not to eat or drink during this episode. by the way be on the look out for charecters from other anime shows.

  • Kagome gets more into what's going on at her school. And no, this is not a test of any kind, but a preparation of the Cultural Festival. Kagome did not start to realize that the ingredients she brought from the Feudal Era are actually demons and Inuyasha

This is sure to be a huge crack up! I have seen random clips of the episode, and I know it's going to involve non-stop laughter and running gags that will keep me wanting to hang on. I hope there will be more hilarious scenes of Inuyasha getting jealous, Kagome's humorous acts, and of course her friends might even see Inuyasha. Overall, this is going to be one fine episode!
  • What happens when demons invade Kagome's school festival and Inuyasha drops in (literally) on her school play, why 25 minutes of laughter of course.

This has to be one of the funniest episodes of Inuyasha. The demons just appearing at the most inopportune times, like during Kagome's choir song (I hope they keep the lyrics the same in the eng. dub). Although the funniest part of the whole episode was the play. Inuyasha crashing in to stop Hojo and Kagome from sharing an on-stage embrace. HILARITY. I don't what else to say but for fans of the show not to be drinking anything during the episode. On a side note an important piece of information is given out after the credits, so do not stop watching until after the credits roll.
