  • This episode features Inuyasha facing off against Jakotsu. Inuyasha is at the verge of being sliced to death by Jakotsu's snake sword, but unfortunately Jakotsu cannot do so because "it" (Jakotsu is NOT a he/she) forgot that Inuyasha is now in his demon-fmoreless

This is an excellent episode that I nicknamed it, "Jakotsu's Death Day." The reason, because this marks the end of the character Jakotsu since the character is no longer a threat and was just plain annoying. Personally, "it" (Jakotsu is NOT a "he" nor a "she") was nothing compared to the other Band of Seven members. This character seemed to have a gender crisis and that seemed pretty wrong. So, good riddance to that annoying Jakotsu! Inuyasha is still the winner!moreless

This is boiling up yet again, something big is about to happend do not miss this episode. Inuyasha is fighing jakotsu, and inuyasha finally defects his attack and does the wind scar. Which put him to lets moments living, after inuyasha didnt listen to jakotsu wish to die he left. But one of the members of band of seven took jakotsu jewel shards. Has he went outside he saw the leader sitting down, he went up to him and the leader took the two jewel shards from his neck. He soon gave them back and said that ill prove the difference between you and me. They fought but leader easilly beat him and took all his jewel shards and said the thing is between you and me is that I wouldnt betray my conrads. Soon after he blocked inuyasha path and said your fighting me now.moreless
  • Not only does Jakotsu die but Hakushin is finally at peace.

    9.1
This episode was especially sad when Kikyo confronted Hakushin and they discussed how painful it was to be in their situations. Then Kikyo talked him out of being in despair and helped him finally find peace. She also helped that old bandit find peace as well. This shows that Kikyo has changed from her once vengeful self back when she had died.

Also as a side note, anyone notice how Kagome always manages to get saved just in the nick of time? It is starting to get annoying how she gets herself in these situations and it looks like she is about to get it but she is suddenly rescued by someone; it is bothersome.moreless
  • A Kikyo Ep

    9.3
Inuyasha escapes Jakotsu's grasp, but this episode is not about him or his group (Miroku and Sango aren't even seen here). Bankotsu's interaction with Renkotsu was my personal favorite part of the episode, as the devious plotting from previous shows culminates here.

For Sesshomaru fans, this ep only features a brief scene, so if he's the reason you watch the series then don't bother with this one.

The bulk of the episode revolves around Kikyo and St. Hakushin. Some of their talk is interesting, but none of it is too revealing or profound. Then again, I should note that I've never been a huge fan of drawn-out Kikyo talking scenes. However, if that kinda thing is up your alley, this ep is sure to please.

The Saint aside, there's also the culmination of the task given to Kikyo in Episode #87 here. If you're like me and enjoy continuity, then you'll agree that it was a really cool touch. Anyways, enjoy.
