This was a good episode to watch. Inuyasha and the gang were walking on the green grass field, when suddenly they notice that a demon was after them. The monk put a sutra spell on it and sealed its powers. The towns people were so happy that they killed the monster they wanted to give them a party in thier honor. They excepted the offer, later sango tried to kill the monk but relized that she was possesed and later sango became possesed and than later on inuyasha got possesed and than they notice it was the fleas girlfriend and she wants him to come home to her.moreless
  • On their way to Naraku's castle, Miroku slays a seemingly weak centipede demon, and they are welcomed by the town who had been plagued by this demon. Afterwards, Sango is possessed and starts attacking Miroku. The gang wonders whether the slayed demon hasmoreless

Even though this episode was a filler episode, it was hilarious. The different possessions are funny, especially Inuyasha's when it appears that he is "hitting on" Shippo. I almost cried during that part. It was that funny.

This episode was a nice break away from all the drama of the battle against Naraku's

    minions.

It was entirely silly, but unpredicable at times as well.

It was funny how Inuyasha and the gang tried to make Myoga go through with the marriage. I almost felt sorry for Myoga. Almost.

But I won't ever get over seeing Inuyasha hit on Shippo or him hopping like a flea (I was thinking bunny rabbit at the time). It was a filler episode but it was a good one.

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (8)

    • The episode preview was narrated by Miroku and Inuyasha.

    • This episode is the only time that they actually show Sango slapping Miroku, instead of showing different characters or scenery while we hear her slapping him.

    • After Sango slaps Miroku, the mark remains on his face then it disappears when Miroku and Kagome gasp, then it reappears again.

    • This is the first opening theme song in which Ginta, Hakkaku, and Kaede can be seen.

    • When Miroku grabs and strokes Sango's butt, he gets slapped by her. However, later, when he grabs and strokes Kagome's butt, she doesn't do anything to him, at all. Not even Inuyasha does anything to him.

    • How would Miroku know what a toilet is? It's not an anachronism. Interestingly, there were toilets back then. What's amazing is that flushing toilets were made a very long time ago (more than 500 years ago). So it is possible for the feudal era to have flushing toilets or outhouses.

    • Miroku gropes Kagome in this episode even though InuYasha said he'd kill him if he ever groped her again in episode 16. InuYasha sees this but shows no anger towards Miroku.

    • After Inuyasha blasts the second centipede with a Wind Scar, it goes from dark to daylight. It's like it went from midnight to middle of the morning. Woops!

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Miroku: (about to attack) Yaaaaaah--ugggh!! (startled) Who are you?
      Little Boy: Wee wee.
      Miroku: No! Not here!
      Little Boy: Got to go.
Miroku: (frantically) Just wait! This isn't the toilet!

    • Miroku: (reading a woman's palm) Your palm says that you will be blessed with many offspring. My dear, would you consider bearing my children?
Old Lady: (pops out of nowhere) Oh, yes. I'll have as many as you want. 15 or 16 you choose the number. Let's get to it!

    • Shippo: (about Sango and Miroku) Wow! She even slaps him in her sleep!

    • Shippo: Is that you Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: (sweetly) Don't think you can escape from me, you naughty little rascal. (pulls kimono off of his right shoulder) I'm all yours for the taking, my sweet, foxy darling.
Shippo: Inuyasha, snap out of it!
